Has the developer been replaced? If not reset code for developer without replacing the developer is not good. Because the copier works based on the counters. If you reset the counter with out replacing the require item the copier will adjust certain voltages to certain items such as the drum and developer system as those there are new because you reset the counters when in fact he developer is old and so mite be the drum which can cause codes and image problems. If the developer was replaced where the counters cleared and was the required F8 checked run? Have you had the developer and drum replaced or does the screen say Replace PC Drum? . Might want to have the developer replaced and drum/cleaning blade normally done all together, then run the F8 procedure and make sure the counters where cleared Did you recently replace the drum and the developer if so did you clear the counters for the drum and developer. IF not then the copier thinks the new drum and new developer are old. Copier works on the counters that how it know it got a new drum and developer. Get new develop and new drum and have it installed correctly, Counters are clear before the unit is yanked out of the machine, then you remove the image unit/drum unit replace the developer/drum and cleaning blade. (DO NOT USE AVACUUM CLEANER WHEN REPLACING THE DEVELOPER static electricity can destroy the sensor located below the developer unit. Then reinstall and RUN F8. Make sure the fax line and Ethernet cable is removed can't print anything until the F8 is run.
