as htc M one 8 has an inbuilt battery you fist have to open the back cover and unscrew the back panel then you can remove the batteryu and replace it with the new one.

Battery could be shot or even the charger. Try switching chargers first. If not you will need a new battery.

Make sure the SIM card can be used with the new phone. Some are not compatible. If you have this problem, copy the contents of the SIM on a PC or Tablet and then copy the file to the new SIM. Hope all comes out ok.

sounds like bad connection to backlight of phone.

If the sim is locked to a particular network then you need to unlock the sim from the particular network. To get the unlock code, contact the service provider or the online unlocking sites.

Your screen is bad, the only fix is a screen replacement.

Go in settings > Apps > Car. Click on "Force Stop" and "Disable" this will make the app unusable and will no longer give you an error message
