Easy answer is you can't you;d have to do a factory reset through the recovery menu and will lose all data. Turn it off, hold volume down, press hold and release power with it still held. On the menu that comes up use the volume keys to goto factory reset and press the power key. Press volume up to confirm when prompted.

You will have to open them with the software provided. Or you could try changing the name to ***.jpg and see if it works. You may just be lucky, if it does not work just change it back to ***.MENC. Or just search online.

There are two types of 'Lock'.

A consumer set passcode lock. To fix this you just need to do a Hard Reset.

The other is a PUK Lock. This is much more of a problem as it has been locked by the telco that owns the phone. Often done when the phone is reported stolen or if you insert a SIM card that belongs to another company.

as htc M one 8 has an inbuilt battery you fist have to open the back cover and unscrew the back panel then you can remove the batteryu and replace it with the new one.
