Have you checked the battery. If you have charged it then it may be a bad battery. also if you are in a cold climate try putting the battery in your pocket for a little while. This is what the manual has to say.

the lens open halfway, the picture on the LCD is blurry and one second after the lens close and an error appears of the screen saying "D: 5f08 5e02". what does this mean??? can you help me fixed this one??

It's possible that some of the settings are set improperly on the camera. Try resetting the camera back to factory default settings and see if this makes any difference. To reset the camera - have the camera in shooting mode - go to Menu - left arrow to RESET - press Ok - highlight Yes and press Ok. This will set the camera back to factory settings. Try to take some images and see if they are still fuzzy.

The error message (D: 5e02) means that your lens is dying / dead. It just happened to mine and I was told that it could be repaired, but it would cost as much as a new camera. I've only had mine 2 years and I've been really careful with it, so I'm a bit annoyed, but I have used it a lot!

put in an xd pic card, the (in) represents internal memory and can not take more than 10 pics

put an xd card in the camera, the (IN) represents internal memory of about 16mb or 10 pics

HI ! this is strange as mine has just done the exact same thing on the 19th Oct !! Have Olympus put a breakdown timer in or what ??
I am sending mine back for repair as you have a 2 year guarantee on it ( you must still have the Waranty card and shop receipt though, to claim this ) . If not , then i'm afraid you may have to pay for a repair, BUT if this is an inherent fault, then you may be able to claim on this point ? before removing the camera or card from the computer, make sure you eject or safely remove before actually unplugging the camera or removing card.

to fix the write protection, format the card use the camera menu

no the memory card is not the problem .... the internal gears or blocks which intialises the lens may have been dislocated due to which this problem is occuring ,..... it has to be fixed from a repairman ,....

Come back if still trouble

The camera may be faulty or it needs to be reset to the factory settings.
Try removing the battery leave it out for at least 1/2 hour, then replace the battery.
If it doesn't work then you need a new camera.

coz the flixible wire of your lense and motor are one
try to test it!!

if it have disconnection..
jumper it for temporary use a small wire
