When we turned on the tv it says no signal vga

This might sound like a silly question but is the VGA input the one you wish to use?
If you are trying to use the VGA input what do you have it connected too?
A) Laptop 2nd VGA output.
B) Desktop VGA output.
NOTE: If you trying to connect it to a laptop you may have to engage your 2nd VGA output by depressing the 'Function Key' and either F4 or Some times it's the F8 key at the same time.

Can't fix polaroid tv help!

Well a couple of questions if I may.
1) How do you have the TV connected to the Cable box?
A) Composite cable 'usually a yellow colored RCA to another Yellow RCA connector' and then plugged into your TV's Video input. This will only give you 3x4 video aspect as its only limited to 480 lines of resolution. This would explain why you only get a 3x4 aspect.
B) Component cables, Usually three cables 'RCA connector's 'Red, Green and Blue' colored ends.
This will give you output resolutions of 720i up to 1080P which is your High Definition outputs and will fill your screen from top to bottom and side to side if your cable box can actually receive High Def. It should since all local Television stations had to go to Digital HD last June 09.

Polaroid tv 2700 dead

I have to tell you that I'm finding that this is about the life expectancy of the first generation LCD TV's. It could be fixed/repaired for between $100 to $200 at a good TV Service Shop.
You may just want to put that money into another TV!

I have a 42

Blossom, I would take it in immediatly to a qualified TV Service Shop or where you bought it from to see if you can either return it or actually get it in for repair. With the size of the three dark spots it's more than a dead pixel issue. Could be a matrix processing issue but one Polaroid should repair/fix under warranty.

Poloroid 32" flat screen

Yep! If under the 1 year warranty get it in right away. If out of warranty then it's possibly a power supply issue. Probably a $100 to 200 dollar repair.

No sound

Try to see if you get the sound from audio out RCA jacks, if you do, then the problem is in the power amp section that drive the speakers.

Help me please i cant miss sunday football

More than likely the lamp ballast power supply has gone bad. If its still under it's 1 year warranty they will fix it for free. If not a good service shop will probably charge you between $100 to 200 to fix.

FLM-2632 October 2006 Won't turn on, no red light, fuse OK

Are you able to with the back off check on all of the PC board 'Especially the power supply board' if any of the fuses are open. If you have a multi-meter to test would be the best. Sometimes you are unable to see the open in a fuse with your naked eye.
This still may be a main power supply issue but more than likely just an open fuse.

42" Polaroid LCD loses most colors

Try replacing your lcd controller. It's the board that actually makes the screen display the picture. Usually you will see the colors getting a little screwy and then the longer you have the tv on the hotter it gets and the worse it gets. I had one that started to look silvery then got worse as it got warmer. For lack of better ways to describe it, it was like you were watching tv on a crazy acid trip. Once you change the controller it should be ok. If that doesn't work 99% chance it's a bad lcd panel. I've seen about 6 of those all with similar issues as you have, they were all brand new tv's and all Sharp Aquos.

NO Picture or Sound on my FLM 26-32

Either one of two problems, the main power supply has an issue or has gone bad. 'Not supplying the correct voltages to your processing/controlling board' or that you are having problems with your processing/controlling board. My guess is the main power supply board.
A Good TV Service Shop would give you an idea of what the cost of repair should be. Call around.

tip

My LCD TV has sound but no picture.

If an LCD TV has sound but no picture do the following:

Use the source button to ensure that source is not set to the wrong input.

Try unplugging power cord for ten minutes, to ensure it is not a setting problem.

Check all the video cables at the back of TV.

Check Light /Color settings.

If problem persist and does not depend on external receiver or settings, then it is likely an internal fault.

If it has sound but no picture then one of the following parts is faulty, and must be tested and replaced:

The inverter is the high voltage board that provides variable power to the backlight lamp. This is the most common. When inverter is faulty you can get no picture, or a very dim picture that can only be seen by pointing a torch light with a 45 degree angle on the LCD surface from very near distance.
The inverter must be tested by reading voltages with a multimeter.

The LCD ribbon cable/LCD display and connectors.
This is quite uncommon, but happens. If the TV had been hit or moved the LCD cable may have slipped out, or the LCD connector may be damaged.

The LCD controller board.
This is the board that controls the video signal, it is difficult to test, as there is need to read determined values on IC pins. To test this board you need to purchase a service manual and follow the troubleshooting diagrams on service manual.

Input/Output Signal boards.
This are the boards where you connect the video and audio cables, if a signal board is defective, then you may get no picture on particular inputs located on faulty board.

If under warranty contact the manufacturer ringing the number on the user manual.

If you want to repair at your own expenses, just locate any good qualified repairer.

HI HAVE A FLM-2632 THAT ALL OF THE SUDDEN LOST

If it's still under warranty the TV Service Shop will fix it for free if they are a qualified Polaroid servicer. If not I believe you are having problems with the power supply board not sending the Audio board the right voltage. Could be the Audio board itself. A Good TV Service Shop should be able to fix it. May cost you between $100 to 200 for the repair.
