TV won't turn on
The voltage change may have affected your t.v transformer. Get it replaced. It is a small and cheap device. When having one from the market, go for the best one, or else the new one too may go out soon.
This may happen again if you are not cautious. Unplug the t.v every time after use and don't let it work when there is voltage fluctuations or lightning.

NO SOUND HAVE ALL CONTROLS
Hi,
Use a Headphone and check, if you are getting Sound. If yes, Speakers are at Fault unless this is an Internal Fault. You need to Open the TV to get it Fixed.
From those symptoms, with the connection you have, the indications are the main board has failed. The main board does the digital processing, but also has the analog audio amplifier for the speaker outputs.
It will need to be serviced to correct the problem. A service estimate will run $45-$75, depending on your location. The estimate charge will apply towards labor should you decide to have it repaired. The replacement of a digital main board will run about $250 plus labor.
One thing you can try, is a reset, this will clear any logic errors - but in this case, its not usual for this to happen, but doesn't hurt to try - to do a soft reset, unplug the TV for an hour or more. Then plug it back in - and see if it corrects the problem. If not, as I mentioned, it will require servicing.
Let me know, if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

How can I set my FLM-2632 to accept Pal-N?
The only way you can do this is if where you are going there is available a box or adapter for Pal to NTSC--I have talked to several people who had this problem and this is the only solution.
It is available in some places but not others.

I can only hear sound through the headphone jack.
try to use a connton swab that you remove some of the cotton off of (so that it fits in the heqad phone jack) then use this to clean out the head phoen jack.
i have had this happen on a cell phone before.
my poloriod got smashed with a hammer, so if you decide you can't/don't want to get this fixed let me know i need a good lcd.

I have a FLM-2632 and its completely dead, opened
You, re right, the problem is most likely in a power supply. I have a similar set myself, had the same issue.
You can't get a separate supply for the set, only whole system module, what plugs in into the main unit. Too bad, it cost around $450 new, so look at discount used parts on line and find a used working power supply.
Good luck,

Polaroid FLU-2632
I had the same problem. It's caused by the picture setting on your Sky box. Go ibto Services, select Picture Settings and set the mode to PAL not RGB.

No sound picture is fine
This seems to be an occurring problem with this model.
It will need to get in for repair. My thoughts is either an issue with the main power supply not sending the appropriate voltage to the audio board or the audio board itself where the Amplifiers have gone bad. Probably going to be a $100 to 200 repair cost at a good TV Service Shop.

HI HAVE A FLM-2632 THAT ALL OF THE SUDDEN LOST
If it's still under warranty the TV Service Shop will fix it for free if they are a qualified Polaroid servicer. If not I believe you are having problems with the power supply board not sending the Audio board the right voltage. Could be the Audio board itself. A Good TV Service Shop should be able to fix it. May cost you between $100 to 200 for the repair.

NO Picture or Sound on my FLM 26-32
Either one of two problems, the main power supply has an issue or has gone bad. 'Not supplying the correct voltages to your processing/controlling board' or that you are having problems with your processing/controlling board. My guess is the main power supply board.
A Good TV Service Shop would give you an idea of what the cost of repair should be. Call around.

I HAVE 42" LCD AND
Very week meaning that the picture is really dim - not as bright as it used to be?
If this is so the Back Light Lamp Ballast or there are issues with the florescent tubes in the TV. Can be repaired if you wish to spend between $100 to 300 at a good service shop. Call around your area and get some estimates. A Good shop will give you them.

Polaroid tv 2700 dead
I have to tell you that I'm finding that this is about the life expectancy of the first generation LCD TV's. It could be fixed/repaired for between $100 to $200 at a good TV Service Shop.
You may just want to put that money into another TV!

Help me please i cant miss sunday football
More than likely the lamp ballast power supply has gone bad. If its still under it's 1 year warranty they will fix it for free. If not a good service shop will probably charge you between $100 to 200 to fix.

Poloroid 32" flat screen
Yep! If under the 1 year warranty get it in right away. If out of warranty then it's possibly a power supply issue. Probably a $100 to 200 dollar repair.
