YOu can always order software on line from your camera site

Try a different usb port.
1>connect the cord to the computer
2>connect the cord to the camera
3>turn the camera on.

Disconnect in the same way, or you may damage your camera.

Also don't forget to check batteries.

I had the same problem and took it into the dealer who firmly taped the battery door shut to get battery contact and told me that a new door would cost more than a new camera. It worked!

Well, this is a new one for me. Do you still have the same photo software? Open up whatever you do have and click on help and unloading camera or something similar. There must be a way.

If you don't have any photo software, I would go to www.tucows and search for freeware photo software -that is compatible with vista and download something there to use.

Alternatively You could simply open up my computer click on the camera drive and open it to see the photos then selct all>copy then go somewhere and create a new folder to paste them into. Then go back anddelte them off your camera. YOu'll still need a photo proggy. I'll bet you have one though. Have a look at everything on your hard and see what you have.

I don't believe that you could do both, The camera is set in one mode or the other.

This happened to me and I took it into a dealer and he simply taped the battery door closed very firmly so that the batteries made contact. They are not making contact now. I thought it was sort of weird, but he said a new battery door would cost as much as a new camera!

I would look in your manual on this one. I am not familiar with a camera without a memory card. Are you sure there isn't one in it?

Do you have a viewfinder and a screen? The screen won;t show anything if you have the viewfinder turned on.

I do not know your camera, but it must have a menu or settings button somewhere where you can change any setting you want. On mine I cliuck on menu>settings.time and date and click on off.

Plug up the camera.Windoews will put up the Camera/Scanner Wizard

if you arent using rechargeable batteries, sometimes the bateries, well most of the time, they arent even strong enough to turn it on

I transferred the videos from the cam to the comp however the sound still isnt playing

Dont worry, if ur camera has a memory card then u can always use a memory card reader to transfer pic to pc. Else if u really need the software for ur camera you will have to just spend few min on google search by typing in ur model name and number. And i am defenitely sure u will get it...!! Please rate me.

if you are using vista, that may be the problem since I don't believe vista supports this camera
