Why does it starts up then shuts off and all the lights start blinking

Hey friend, I appreciate your post!

I see that your Frigidaire air conditioner will start up then shut off and blink. It could possibly an issue with control panel or the power source of the appliance. I would attempt to perform a reset on the air conditioner which would be removing the plug and pressing the "Test" button, you will hear a click and the button will pop out. Then press the "Reset" button, you will hear another click then plug the appliance in. Those are the steps to resetting your air conditioner, if that does not successfully correct the problem please reply back. I look forward to your response. -Matt

I have a frigidaire fra123cv1 every 3minutes it

Good morning jesse dixon, I appreciate your post!

Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire air conditioner, FRA123CV1, cutting off every three minutes and then flashes "#88" then it will go back to the normal setting. Sounds it could be a possible issue within your control panel or power cord. Are you currently under warranty? If so, you might want to reach out directly to the manufacturer to determine the coverage on your air conditioner and the procedures to any potential remedy. I hope this helps to some degree. -Matt

How do you turn off power saver on frigidaire air conditioner

Good Afternoon Friend, I understand you want to know how to turn off the power save mode for your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# FFRE12L3Q1. Your appliance will run in energy saver(econ) mode when used for the first time. In this mode, the fan will continue to run for 1 minute after the compressor shuts off. The fan then cycles on for 20 seconds at 10 minute intervals until the room temperature is above the set temperature, at which time the compressor turns back on. You will be able to turn the energy save mode off by selecting your temperature as well as your fan speed. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful. -Best Regards- WP

Why my air conditioner it's dropping water?

Condensation is normal but window air conditioners bases must be tilted to the outside of the window so the condensation drains outside. The drain hole in the pan can plug with dirt overfilling the pan allowing the water to leak inside your home.

What is the starfoam for in my airconditionar for?

Hey friend, thanks for your inquiry!

The sytrofoam inside the air conditioner is part of the duct work and it also helps to hold colder temperatures. The new air conditioners do not have drain holes but instead recycle the water inside your appliance to help cool the internal components. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

Ac unit keeps resetting

Good Morning Friend, I understand that your Frigidaire air conditioner keeps resetting itself. First, be sure the electrical service is adequate for the model you have chosen. This information can be found on the serial plate, which is located on the side of the cabinet and behind the grille. Secondly, be sure the air conditioner is properly grounded. To minimize shock and fire hazards, proper grounding is important. The power cord is equipped with a three-prong grounding plug for protection against shock hazards. Lastly, your air conditioner must be used in a properly grounded wall receptacle. If the wall receptacle you intend to use is not adequately grounded or protected by a time delay fuse or circuit breaker, have a qualified electrician install the proper receptacle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful. -Best Regards- WP

My portable air conditioner won't cool.

First determine if the pump/compressor is working. If not, there's your problem. Needs repair done by a shop. Well, really, only a shop should be repairing Ac units due to certificatios, equipment and EPA refrigerant recovery regulations. Sorry. -Ned_

How do i empty the drain bucket

Good Morning Friend, this is Z. Thank you for your post! I see that your question is listed under Frigidaire air conditioner and you are inquiring about how to empty the drain bucket. However based on the picture of the model (split-air conditioner) shown above. I do not see it has a drain bucket. May I have your model number please? You can normally find the serial tag (which lists your model number) on the right side of the cabinet on both the inside and outside appliance. With this information I can better address the issue at hand. Thank you!

A/C unit does not blow cold air

Good Morning Friend, I understand your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# FAA055P7A1, is not blowing cold air. I also see that you have had it in storage and it has not been run for 5 seasons. Please note that the "Cool " circuit has an automatic 3 minute time delayed start if the unit is turned off and on quickly. This prevents overheating of the compressor and possible circuit breaker tripping. The fan will continue to run during this time. First, make sure you have cleaned the filter by following these instructions: • Push the vent handle to the Vent Closed position (where applicable). • Open the front panel. • Grasp the filter by the center and pull up and out. • Wash the filter using liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. Rinse filter thoroughly. Gently shake excess water from the filter. Be sure filter is thoroughly dry before replacing. • Or, instead of washing you may vacuum the filter clean. Secondly, make sure the temperature sensing element, located behind the air filter, is not touching a cold coil. If it is straighten it away from the coil. Lastly, try resetting your air conditioner to a lower temperature. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful. -Best Regards- WP
