I appreciate your post, Tamara Brazile! I see that your sleep button on your Frigidaire air conditioner continues to beep. Do you see any error codes on your air conditioner? Additionally, could you please provide me with your model number? You can locate the serial tag (which lists your model number) on the outside frame of your air conditioner or under the front panel. Thank you for your inquiry, Eddie!
From the information you have provided your Frigidaire air conditioner is not turning on after you have plugged it in. I have identified a few possibilities of what could be causing the problem with your air conditioner to be the control panel or power cord. You may be able to perform a reset on your air conditioner by unplugging the power cord and pressing the reset button. You should hear a click and then press the test button. Once you plug it in it should start. If your air conditioner does not start I would suggest contacting the manufacturer for any additional assistance. Hopefully this information is helpful. -Matt
Thank you for your inquiry, Angela Babin!
From my understanding your Frigidaire air conditioner is displaying an error code "H5". Normally, the error code "H5" stands for heater thermistor error. I would recommend performing a reset on your air conditioner by unplugging it for ten minutes. If that does not help correct the error code it could be a possible problem with your thermistor or control board. I hope this is helpfully. -Matt
Hello friend, thank you for your inquiry!
I understand that you are getting an "EC" error code on your Frigidaire air conditioner. However, it appears "EC" is an invalid error code. It is possible that the error code is missing characters? I show that the error code "ES" or "CS" is valid. In the meantime, I suggest resetting your air conditioner. You can do this by flipping the household circuit breaker for roughly ten minutes. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, could you please inform me of the new error code or if your air conditioner continues to display "EC". I look forward to assisting you. -Matt
