Whirlpool washer water accumulation

Water is filling in the machine when it is not in use? If that is the case something must have fouled innards of the watervalve. The way it works is water pressure is pushing against spring-loaded plungers for hot and cold. When water is called for the solenoids get energized on the water valve and them plungers get snatched open. When the power goes off the water pressure and springs snap the plunger back into place. If sediment gets in there and fouls the plunger it sometimes will not completely shut off the flow of water causing a trickle to flow into the washer. To replace the valve is fairly simple. Remove the top and swap her out. If you shut off the water supply each time you wash then the trickle will cease but that is a pain in the **** to have to do. Our frontload washer will not drain displays suds alert then goes to fo2 for dain problem. We have checked drain troublshoots and ran several rinse cycles without detergent.

lean the machine back and remove the 3 screws on the bottom access panel. lean it back so you don't dump the remaining water in the drain all over your floor. behind it you will find the pump housing (its white). with channel locks unscrew it and check for a sock or just random stuff from pockets. it is keyed so you cannot put it back improperly. to kill suds the best thing is 2-3 cups of white vinegar. if your soap is an h.e. that says any kind of concetrate then use that much less. if it's not h.e. then that is why you over suds the unit

Hmmm ok the F21 code also means long drain time and the recommended fix is to clean the pump filter...if ya clear that code by pressing the PAUSE/CANCEL button two time and the F21 code returns the next step would be to replace the pump since it probably is running slower that its suppose to most likely because of a weak motor on the pumpThe part number for the pump assembly is 280187

I have a whirlpool duet,

Remove the bottom panel and reach up to the door latch. There is a tab in there you can pull to release the door lock. Then try unplugging the machine for a few minutes. If this doesn't work you will need to replace the motor control.

How do you install whirlpool duet pedestal

Make sure that you get the pedestal designed for your washer. The white pedestal for the GHW9400P would be LAB2700MQ. (There are slight differences in the pedestals for different series washers. The holes in the base of the washer will not line up with the holes in the pedestal for a mismatched combination.)

First if your washer has been installed, uninstall it. You need to turn off the water. Then disconnect the power cord and (carefully) the fill hoses. Loosen the hoses first and then completely remove them. Drain the hoses into a bucket. Disconnect the drain hose from the back of the washer. Use pliers to squeeze the clamp to get the drain hose loose.

Pull the washer away from the wall. Cover the area behind the washer with cardboard and tip the washer onto its back (on the cardboard).

Pull out the drawer of the pedestal. Next snap the spacers into the holes on the top of the pedestal. (These are part of the hardware kit in the drawer of the pedestal.) Remove the shipping spacers from the front of the pedestal (behind the drawer). Remove the Philips head screw from the drawer slides and pull the drawer completely out (save the screws). Push the slides back into the pedestal.

Look at the washer and remove the feet if present. Partially install two of the hex head screws from the pedestal installation kit in the bottom holes of the washer. (These are at the center back of the washer if it is standing up.) Leave the screws about 3/8" from the bottom of the washer. Move the pedestal over to the washer and slide the keyhole openings of the pedestal over the two partially installed screws. Position the pedestal against the top of the washer and insert the remaining two hex head screws. Do not tighten completely.

Align the pedestal with the base of the washer on all sides. When it is lined up, tighten the 4 screws by reaching through the drawer opening of the pedestal. Bring the washer and pedestal back upright. Reinstall the washer (remove the packaging if this was a new install). Level (front to back and side to side) the washer using the pedestal feet (again reach through the drawer opening). Make sure that all 4 feet touch the floor. Tighten all 4 locknuts.

Pull out the drawer slides and reinstall the drawer. Reinstall the Philips screws. Close the drawer.

For pictures of the install, go to the Whirlpool support site http://www.whirlpool.com/owner_center . Search for your pedestal and get the installation manual. The direct link for the LAB2700MQ0 install is http://www.kitchenaid.ca/assets/pdfs/literature/Installation%20Instructions%20-%208537141.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Hello Im getting a

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

F02 is a drain error in your Kenmore washer, if the unit is unable to drain then after 4 minutes it will display suds and then F02. The first thing that should be done is cleaning the drain hose and the drain pump filter, you can take out three torx screws from the bottom front panel and then clean the area completely, lift up the cap to clean the filter. If the error returns then check the drain pump if it is not working then replacing the pump is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
