My heater won't turn off

fan motor control switches are set for 130 degrees to start and stop the fan, yours is fused shut so the fan will not turn off, there will be 2 such units in your heater the other is the high limit gas cut off switch locate your fan switch usually has an egg shape with a screw or nut holding on each tab,,so 2 screws or nuts, mark the locations the wires connect to the switch, some have a 3 wire unit, bring the faulty switch to a local plumbing and heating outlet and simply match yours to any available unit in the temp range yours is set to or 130 degree limit, and also has the same wire count, should be around 15 bucks or so good luck

I have the Fahrenheat Model FUH 724 heater. The

1st you will belucky if you actually have 240 v, most
homes are usually 220v. In youyr case you need to start at the breaker panel.

This is an example:
You have a Double Pole Single Throw breaker. Black
Wire is hot and goes into one side of breaker,if you havea red wire that goes into the other have of the
breaker.

The white wire ties in the nuetral bar and the bare wire into the ground bus bar. At the unit you hook up the red and the black wire which will supply the 240
Volts, you could tie the white and the ground wires together into the grounding terminal

Need instructions on how to install a 750W

Hi,
To know what to tell you you need to know if it is 1 phase or 3 phase and what the voltage is that it will be running on...

Assuming that it is 240v 1 phase current you will need at least a 40 amp 2 pole breaker and #8 wire for a distance of upto about 100 ft. if longer then you need to go up to #6 wire....

7500 watts / 240v equals 31.25 amps... so a thirty to too small and you will need the 40....

Wire sizing needs to go larger as the run gets longer...

I have a farenheat fuh 54 b the fan turns slow

I would clean fan blades and motor housing. Blow out motor with compressed air if possible and check for oil ports on both ends of motor housing. If your motor has oil ports they may have plastic or aluminum plugs in them. If so remove themand put 3-4 drops of fine grade oil in. I hope this helps. Thanks
