That is a good question since it is an older camera and the max included sd card is 64mb. If the formatting of the software reader at the time is compatible with more modern advances in sd storage, it "should" allow for a larger card, but I have seen some older devices that are only setup for the capacities at the time they were released for sale.

Suggest you put a larger card in the camera and follow the formatting instructions in the manual to see your device will format the card. If it can read the card and format, it will probably work.

Your camera almost certainly has a lens error, this is such a common fault that I hope you don't mind me pasting my stock generic answer below. No point in reinventing the wheel!

The fault is commonly caused by dirt or grit blocking the mechanism, or due to it having suffered a recent fall. If your camera is still under warranty and has definitely not been subject to misuse then contact the Rollei service department in your country to find out about a free repair. I can't fine any manual for this camera, but this could be caused, because your camera is in a macro setting. Juts look in the manual, how you could switch to the automatic mode with that camera.
