You may want to try the codes for Orion and Funai if Philips supports
these, since these are the 2 most common manufacturer of Durabrand.

you can contact dura brand on the back of the unit it should tell you where it was made and if your lucky a phone no see if you can locate a schematic there

in most cases there are not many parts aviable to repair it with there were made to sell at a price point for a retail chain

It's the Vertical circuit board, you can fix this by re soldering all the cracked or damaged joint on the board.

To find it, you can follow the Yoke cable ( 4 cable connected to the neck of CRT ), 2 of it is for Horizontal deflections, sometimes with Red color, then the other two on the side is the Vertical Deflections, follow that circuit.

use yellow red and white from the dvd players video out to the tv video input. Yellow is for video red and white Audio left and right.

go to menu settings, make sure it is on air or CATV depending on what you are using. CATV is for cable or dish.
Then go to menu settings and find the "autoprogram" option and select it. It will scan any available channels. Let it run through completely.

First, you need to realize that there is no such thing as a 'universal remote.'  At best, they are multi-brand remotes.
You might get lucky if you try any codes you have (or can retrieve from the Tandy website) if you check these brands too:
Funai, Symphonic, Sylvania, Emerson, Aventura, Durabrand, ESA, Magnavox, INSIGNIA, and Misakai
They are all made by Funai, one of the worst manufacturers in Asia. 

Try a universal remote, if there is no video button on the TV.

A Philips Universal remote model CL032 will operate all functions on the Durabrand TV. The codes on the instruction sheet will not work. You will have to do a library search on the remote. You will have to push the channel plus button 40 times. This will make since after youread the instructions.

You can program a Comcast remote to work with the TV. Press the "TV" button on the Comcast remote. Then, hold down the "Setup" button until the red light blinks 3 times. Enter a 5 digit code:

The 10171 code worked for my Durabrand DWT1905. Then use the TV/VCR button located beneath the "7" to switch inputs.
