5. OLD BATTERIES CAN LEAK AND CAUSE CORROSION DAMAGING YOUR UNIT.
6. LAMP BULBS OR LANTERN SHOULD ONLY BE REPLACED BY QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN.

Using the Compass

USING THE COMPASS
WHEN THE COMPASS (4) IS HORIZONTALLY PARALLEL, THE COMPASS (4) WILL
ADJUST THE DIRECTION AUTOMATICALLY. WHEN IT IS STABLIZED, IT WILL
INDICATE THE FOUR DIRECTIONS.

SETTING THE DATE AND TIME
1. PRESS MODE (8) TWICE TO SET THE MONTH. PRESS SET (9) TO ADJUST THE DESIRED MONTH.
2. PRESS MODE (8) ONCE AGAIN TO SET THIS DATE. PRESS SET (9) TO ADJUST THE DESIRED DATE.
3. PRESS MODE (8) ONCE AGAIN TO SET THE HOUR. PRESS SET (9) TO ADJUST THE DESIRED HOUR.
4. PRESS MODE (8) ONCE AGAIN TO SET THE MINUTE. PRESS SET (9) TO ADJUST THE DESIRED MINUTE.
5. PRESS MODE (8) ONCE AGAIN TO RETURN TO THE NORMAL DISPLAY.

USING THE WEATHER BAND STATION
1. FOR WEATHER STATIONS, CLICK THE WEAIHER BAND/AM/FM (13) TO “WB”.
2. TUNE FOR THE WEATHER STATIONS BY THE TUNING (14).

Using the Clock

USING THE CLOCK
1. NORMALLY THE LCD CLOCK DISPLAY (6) SHOWS THE HOURS AND TIlE MINIJTES.
2. BY PRESSING SET (9) ONCE THE MONTH AND DATE WILL APPEAR.
3. BY PRESSING SET (9) TWICE THE DISPLAY SHOWS THE SECONDS.
4. TO RETURN TO THE NORMAL DISPLAY PRESS SET (9) ONCE.

Lantern Operation

LANTERN OPERATION
1. PUSH THE LANTFRN/FLASHSLIGHT/OFF (11) TO “LANTERN 1+2” OR “LANTERN I”. THE LANTERN WILL BE TURNED ON.
2. PUSH THE LANTERN/FLASHLIGHT/OFF (11) TO “FLASHLIGHT’ TO TURN ON I’HE FRONT LIGHT.
3. PUSH THE LANTERN/FLASHLIGHT/OFF (11) TO “OFF’ THEN BOTII LANTERN AND FLASHLIGHT WILL BE TURNED OFF.
4. PUSH THE BLINKER/SIREN/OFF (12) TO “BLINKER” AND THE FLASH LIGHT (10) WILL BLINK.
5. PUSH THE BLINKER/SIREN/OFF (12) TO “SIREN” AND THE SIREN WILL BE TURNED ON.
6. PUSH THE BLINKER/SIREN/OFF (12) TO “OFF” AND BOTH THE FLASH LIGHT (10) AND THE SIREN WILL BE TURNED OFF.
7. PULL OUT THE LANTERN (16) AND ADJUST THE LANTERN ANGLE.

Radio Operation

RADIO OPERATION
1. TURN THE VOLUME ON / OFF (15) CLOCKWISE TO TURN ON THE RADIO.
2. SELECT THE AM OR FM BAND BY THE WEATHER BAND/AM/FM SELECTOR (13).
3. TUNE THE STATIONS BY THE TUNING (14).
4. ADJUST THE VOLUME BY THE VOLUME ON/OFF (15).

Battery Installation

BATTERY INSTALLATION

FOR CLOCK
:

OPEN THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT DOOR. DRIVE THE SCREW
OUT AND INSERT 1 NEW UM4 1.5V BATTERY INTO THE
COMPARTMENT FOLLOWING THE POLARITIES AS INDICATED.
DRIVE BACK THE SCREW TO LOCK THE BATTERY
COMPARTMENT.


FOR RADIO:


INSERT 4 NEW “SIZE D” 1.5V BATTERIES (FOR RADIO) FOLLOWING THE POLARITIES AS INDICATED.

Flashlight Battery and Bulb Installation and...

FLASHLIGHT

BATTERY INSTALLATION FOR TORCH:
Open the Torch Battery Door located on the bottom of the Torch.
Insert 4 “A A” (1 .5V UM-3) (not included) batteries (alkaline
batteries are recommended) into the torch compartment. Be sure
the polarity (+ and
-) matches, as marked inside the battery
compartment.

FLASHLIGHT:

Slide the Torch Function Switch to the “FLASH” position, the Torch will light. To turn off, slide the Torch Function Switch to the “OFF’ position.
FLASH/BLINK FUNCTION:
Slide the Torch Function Switch to “FLASH/BLINK” position, tha Torch will light and thc bulbs on both sides of Torch will blink.


BULB REPLACEMENT:

Rotate the Torch Cover anticlockwise to hear “click”
then p
ull out the cover, remove the old bulb. Then pull
out the torch cup, remove the blinker’s
old bulbs and
reinstall new bulbs. Replace the torch cup, then reinstall
a new bulb. Replace the Torch Cover. 501a324.jpg

Manual for Jeep KNG36-JXLWBC AM/FM Weatherband Flashlight Lantern

I just posted a copy of the manual in pdf format on this web site however I have no idea how you would access it.
