While the headset works frequently,

It sounds like the battery is no longer holding a good charge. There is no replacement battery for this headset. If you are using the original 510 headset you can replace it or pair a different bluetooth headset up to the 500A base. Just keep in mind if you decide on a different style of headset you will not be able to charge it in your base. I have included the link for the 510 replacement headset below.Plantronics Voyager 510 Replacement HeadsetGood luck from Headsets Direct!

Can sync earpiece to base.

Here are the pairing instructions for your Plantronics Voyager 500A base: On the base, press and hold both speak volume fine adjust buttons until the blue talk/on line indicator light and red power indicator light start to flash. Now put the headset into paring mode that you will be using with the base. Pairing is complete when the talk/on line indicator on base illuminates solidly. Here is the link to the 500A user guide:Plantronics Voyager 510S User's GuideGood luck from Headsets Direct!

If you are moving out of range from your base (33 feet) it will drop the call. Because this is a Bluetooth, you must always be in range. Here is a link to the manual, in case you don't have one:Plantronics Voyager 510 User's GuideGood luck from Headsets Direct!

The headset will not charge.

Yes, the headset has a battery, but it's non-replaceable. If you've had it for some time and your battery is going out, you will need to replace the headset. Below is a link for the replacement headset that you can check out:Plantronics Voyager 510 Replacement HeadsetGood luck from Headsets Direct!

The handset lifter works, but

If you have a 510a base, then purchased a Plantronics Voyager Pro headset to replace your old headset, it won't work. Those are two different headsets. The Voyager Pro is not meant to work with the 510a base. The correct headset is this:Plantronics Voyager 510 Replacement HeadsetGood luck from Headsets Direct!

We are experiencing a lot

Try re-pairing the headset to the Plantronics 500A base unit to make sure that it has a good connection. And of course you also need to be within the 30ft range of the 500A base, and you can typically only use around 6-7 of those units together in the same area. Any tips on the hand

It sounds like your HL10 handset lifter is giving you problems. This link has a nice set-up video to help you. Plantronics HL10 Handset LifterHere's a couple of other reminders: Pay close attention to placement of lifter under the handset for proper fit and also how the tape sticks to the phone. Make sure the cord is plugged completely into the base of the wireless headset (needs a good contact). For height adjustment, medium and high work best (the low setting is pretty useless).Good luck from Headsets Direct!

The red light and blue

Unplug the AC power from the Plantronics 500A base, leave it unplugged at least overnight if possible, no lights should be illuminated on the base. Then plug the power back in, charge the headset, and try re-pairing the headset to the Plantronics 500A base unit.
