I own a Maytag MGR5754QDQ

"CAL" means calibration is out of range. If "Hard reset" - unplugging the oven and plugging it back in does not help - replace control. You can read about this error here. This document is about the electric ranges, but the codes and all tests.and procedures are the same. Try entering the quick test mode (page 4) and testing the range. Entering quick test mode also should do "soft reset". Part number for your control board is 74009153.
Good luck.

Top burners work, oven not getting gas electronic ignition comes

The electronic ignition system (a ceramic plate that glows red) lets some power pass through to allow the gas to flwo when it has reached lighting temperature. The ceramic lighter needs replacing. Either that or the general electronic in the stove are shot.

The dual output burner does not work. I measured

Those "Dual Heat Range" burners are available. Go to Sears.com, click on "Parts Direct", enter model number, press enter, when next screen pops up look on diagram for your burner, then scroll down to find part number & price. Then search the internet for cheapest price and delivery. Those burners average 150.00 - 300.00.

Admiral wont heat

Your breaker in the breaker box has a double pole breaker for the stove one breaker is shot so you still have 120volts which runs the lights 240volts for the elements.Turn main power off and replace the breaker. To verify for sure pull the stove out and unplug it check power at the plug you need 240volts at the plug. If i dont have a plug and wired straight in disconnect the wires and check the wires.

Broiler coil sparked and broke, stopped working; 1

Installer either did not do the job right OR when the coils broke they shorted in a manner that fried the oven control. The installer SHOULD have verified proper operation before they left your premises.

Baking element not working

Hi, UNPLUG the oven! Remove the screws that hold the element in and pull it toward you. Hopefully they were kind enough to give you plenty of wire to pull it out. Then just unplug old element and plug in new one. Some models have a screws on the element to hold the wire on to it.
I hope this helps.
Please let me kow if I can assist you further.

Thanks
Vic

Burners - Oven not working

There is a problem with the 220v power to the stove. Indications are the neutral connection is missing either at the stove, in the plug receptacle or in the breaker panel.

Baking element not working

Alex, you should turn the breaker off just to be safe. And yep, those two screws come out and the new one goes in, and the two screws go right back in.

I have admiral Stove top burner is workni but oven is not working

This may be due to a bad main clock/electronic control but the only way to know for sure is to do some electrical testing with a volt/ohm meter and the wiring diagram located within the appliance. If possible use the meter and the wiring diagram to check input/output voltages looking for discrepancies between the diagram and the actual meter readings.

Admiral electric range with self cleaning oven

Hey there gcato1, your problem is actually a protective feature designed to prevent you from getting burned. The self cleaning feature runs at extremely hot temps. Until the temperature reaches a safe level, the oven door will remain latched. Be patient and the problem will solve itself.

Stove ignitor does not light burner. How to fix ?

This may sound silly and I know your stove is gas, but is your stove plugged into a power outlet on the wall? Some older stoves had the igniters powered from a wall socket so had to be 'plugged in' and others are powered by replaceable batteries, (AA's or AAA's), with the pack being mounted low down on the front, near one of the front feet. If it is a battery type try changing the battery for a new one. Sometimes the fix is that easy.
