Random shutdown

If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors - Flickering screen - Screen image disappears after several seconds - Dim screen - Slow start - Power LED on, but no picture - Unusual colors and/or lines The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad. If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced. New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years. Check the cables, connectors and connections. Take it to a repair shop.

I have one Balance CM2015 (Black) 15" LCD Monitor

You do not really need the driver for the monitor for it to work with any PC, the only time you need the driver is when all the resolution are not listed when you try to adjust the resolution, it is really bad if you run windows 7 since a lot of companies will not provide windows 7 drivers for old monitors. You need to use Fn key combination with with either F4,5, 6, or 7 to select internal/external/both which depends on the make and model of the laptop.
The monitor work OK with desktop PC?

I repair hundreds of monitors and I would have gone crazy installing ALL the drivers for ALL the monitor I have to repair.

Please leave rating if it helps.

Just recently started flashing on and off.

I would look for bad caps in the power supply first.
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

Flat Panel Monitor blinks green & yellow, long time to wake up...

Hello
before telling you the problem , check whether the cord into the cpu is not loose.if it is , then re-insert tightly, but if the connections are fine , i am afraid there is a bad news for you.
This is a failure in the active matrix or its driver i.c. If the unit is out of warranty the cost should be between $80.00 and $180.00 to fix this depending if the active matrix is the cause.Call your costumer support as they only can replace this component

Hope your Monitor is in guarantee period and
Good luck

Powers up but then shuts off

Could be one of two things: The power supply for the monitor has a loose connection and as soon as it starts heating up the connection is open. Or your video card could be going bad. I'd bet on the former, though.
Why not try swapping out the monitor for one from a friend and see if the problem persists?
If it does, either get the monitor fixed or replace it.

Screen goes black

This indicates the LCD inverter in the display is dead. If you have any experience with computer repair, replacing an LCD Inverter can be easy enough; However, it may not be worth it for a 15" LCD; replacement inverters can cost anywhere between $15 and $40 - a decent used 15" LCD only costs about 40 bucks these days...

Power light flashes yellow then green

I used to repair LCD monitor from Dell. It works. Most of LCD monitor brand have the save main components such as CCFL lamps, inverter board, power board. You might be using these following steps to examine what wrong with your monitor. After you turned PC on and monitor stopped working or went black, you have to check that if you can see the image on the screen or not by shining a flashlight into the screen, not directly but find the best angle to the screen and take a look very closely. If you can see the icons or any image (Start menu), there will be a minor problem. This is because of CCFL lamps inside screen. Some of them were broken and it is very easy to replace. If you cannot see anything on the screen, there'll be some problems with inverter board. If you have soldering tool and want to fix it by yourself, check the caps first. It may cause this problem. Some caps might show leaking or burn spot on the board because of too high temp. If you don't have soldering tool, you better go get a technician to do so. Hope this help!! If anything I can help you with, feel free to let me know.
Thank you,

Monitor

Do you have it connected to a laptop? Or maybe your system is set to go into hibernation. Go into control panel and look for power settings. In there you will find a setting which turns monitor off after a certain length of time. Either set it to not turn off or set the period longer. If you are using it with a laptop you have to compromise between wasting of battery power and ease of usage. This is common on laptops although it is sometimes a problem with desktop machines. I doubt whether it is a monitor hardware problem. I am presuming your monitor goes off after a period of inactivity.

Balance CM2015 Monitor

How old is your PC. If it is old maybe your graphics card is ********** to run this game. It is probably not the monitor itself but the way the computer is handling the graphics. Have a look on the box the barbie game came in and see what version of directX it needs. If it is directX 9 and your computer is a couple of years old then your graphics card needs updating. Because you can hear the game indicates that the computer is running it OK but that it is having difficulty representing the images on the screen. If none of the above applies then we need more information on your system. Model number, manufacturer etc.

CM2015 15" LCD Monitor

Sometimes over long periods of tiem these buttons on the LCD monitor become lodged and they begin to stick. From frequent use the board that controls these small charges that allow the board on the mother board to know what button is pushed shortout or go bad, the pads beneath them go bad as well. You may want to purchase a new monitor! I repair these all of the time, sometime you just have to say goodbye! Sorry!
