RECOVERY DISCS FOR BALANCE CN6555 PC NOTEBOOK

Hi when you say you cant boot up, do you have any power going to the notebook, i.e. lights, drive firing up etc.,
If you have power and the Windows product key you can use an Windows installation disk to get you up and running. The disk itself doesn't have to be your own as long as the version you use is the same as the product key you own, usually found on the bottom of the unit.
For example MS Windows XP Home

Gateway m680 my laptop want

Hi!

I assume you want to install windows XP on your laptop.
The XP installation disk doesn't contain the SATA drivers needed to operate your harddisk.

There are two different aproaches to solve this kind of issue.
First: (very simple, works only sometimes): enter the BIOS setup and find any option related to SATA MODE. Change the current option to something like LEGACY or anyway, to other value than the default one. Try now to do the windows installation again.

Second: (not so simple, but work everytimes): The goal is to create a custom windows installation disk, especially for your laptop. This can be done using a free software called N-LITE.
Using this software + your old windows installation disk + the SATA drivers downloaded from the Gateway support site you will be able to burn a new windows installation disk with the SATA drivers integrated. Keep this new created disk for future use.
If you need help about using N-lite, you can find a lot of examples and tutorial online, but of course you can ask here again about that, I'll be glad to offer further help.

Please let me know if it helped.

Good luck!

Always get your drivers from the manufacturer of your Laptop, Notebook or Desktop.

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, usually one is able to download if available, by model number, All available Driver downloads as required.

If the driver is not available, perhaps your manufacturer does not support the OS you are installing.

This is the best way of ensuring up to date drivers for your system and they are free of charge!

There are no XP drivers to be found with Microsoft as XP is no longer supported.

Some manufacturers may have a limited number of Drivers still listed.

I hope this helps.

My charger to my laptop

The best thing that you can do is to go to the brand service center and bring your laptop so that they can provide the type of charger fit for the unit. Using replacement charger bought from anywhere is not advisable since this may not be compatible with your unit, and besides, durability is the issue. Please buy a charger from the brand service center or to a computer shop that is authorized supplier of your unit. This would certainly assure you of your money's worth. If you can't find the charger in your locale, you can order thru e-bay. I just hope this info helps.

Hey wats up, my uncle gave

Well it certainly comes with an audio device.
First thing is to check t is still in the device.
Assuming it is a running a version of Windows XP or above and you can connect it to the internet go to the Control Panel, System, Device Manager. Then check the Sound, Video and Game Controllers - if one exists un-install it, then use Action,Scan for Hardware Changes - the machine will try to find the correct Driver and install it. If this fails you will need to get the name of the device and check for a driver on the internet and install it manually - pretty simple, find the file, download it then run it.
If these steps fail you probably have a hardware fault.
