How do you get to the pump. There are no screws on the back.

Removal of Pump (a) Lay machine on an angle against a wall. If leaning the machine against a wall ensure that the machine is stable, and take necessary precautions not to damage the wall or the machine. (b) Remove the wiring harness to the pump and the earth wire. (c) Release the locking tab by pulling it away from the pump. Keep pressure on the tab and turn the body of the pump in an anticlockwise direction.Continue to turn until the pump disengages. Note: Approximately 250mls of water remains in the pump sump after pump out and will spill when the pump is removed. Take care not to spill this water over electrical connections by using a towel or small container to catch the water. Reassembly: (a) Locate the bayonet fixture correctly, then turn the pump in a clockwise direction until you hear the locking tab clicks into place. (b) Connect the earth wire ensuring that the tab is locked into place by applying gentle pressure on the wire. (c) Connect main harness. Ensure that the wiring is routed correctly and will not foul on any moving components. wu2afjbn2ccnwaaaabjru5erkjggg==

Code 40 on my eco intuitive what does it mean

40. (00101000) Bowl Dis-engage Fault While carrying out a bowl check, the Motor Control Module has found that the bowl is not engaged even though the pressure sensor indicates that the bowl is empty. The Motor Control Module continues to check for 2 minutes, after which time it displays this fault. The first two areas to check are the clutch and the pressure tube. If these two appear correct, then the fault could be in the pressure sensor in the Motor Control Module. Primary Source: Mechanical. Action: 1) Check that there are no clothes or other foreign objects preventing the clutch from re-engaging. Excessive suds can stop the bowl rotating. 2) If the machine is empty of water, carry out a clutch disassembly procedure and check the spline drive. 3) Next check that the pressure tube has not come off and that it is not kinked. Secondary Source: Motor Control Module. Action: Replace Motor Control Module.

CODE 66 NEEDS SERVICE

dkfreeman - i hope you are handy with a screw driver - remove the 2 screws on the rear top corners of the display, lift the door upwards to remove - remove the display - disconnect the display module - take off the a clear tube right side of the controllers - try bowing into this away from the board. DO NOT BLOW INTO THE ELCTRONIC BOARD - put it all back together 7 switch it on - if theres water in the washer advance prog to rinse so it drains, start from the beginning of a cycle and hope for the best.

Code 66 - is an error based around the water level control, its electronic rather than a pressure switch - operates the same way.

Worse case is you may have to replace the control module - but the above method should sort this out for you.

Fault code 37

Hello, code 39 is indicating you have an issue with the drain pump. The most common being the pump is failing. If you have been hearing any kind of sqeeking or squeeling or a rattling sound during the wash cycle the pump is failing and will need to be replaced.

Water leaking under washer

Chances are it's the 6 inch or so rubber "U" tube you see attached from the diverter valve to the pump. The end that goes to the pump has to slip under the metal housing and turn it about a half an inch, then use the clamps to secure it.

Not pumping water out

Hi just read your post. Now is the machine full of water? If it is, drain most of the water by hand with a small pot or bowl. When you have removed most of the water pull the machine away from the back wall and lean it back so you can look under neath the machine. To the right of the machine you will see a little black fan, this is the pump.Make sure the power is off at the wall ,now turn the fan clockwise and anticlockwise. The fan should spin freely. If it does put the machine back on the ground and turn the machine on and select a spin cycle and it should start to drain. If it does not drain or the fan is hard to turn please reply and I can help you further.Regards LU.

Fisher and Paykel ecosmartWashing Machine Agitator flap broke off

Hi Bill...
It takes all of 5 minutes (if that) to change the agitator. You pop off the fabric softener dispenser on the top of the agitator, then reach down inside and undo the plastic wingnut that secures the agitator down and then simply lift if off.

As for issues with using it with broken fins, you could end up with some clothes damage, especially to delicate items, if you continue to use it that way.

You can get the part here:
