Check on the processor installed inside the computer's motherboard, it might be loosen and make sure it is properly locked. Also check for the fan. Make sure the cpu is properly ventilated to avoid overheating that might cause the shutdown.
Needed driver for Network : 10/100Mbps integrated Ethernet driver
Gateway (eMachines manufacturer) has a driver database for your model of computer. I myself have several eMachines of my own and am pretty sure they all have the same 10/100 Ethernet board. If you are unsuccessful with Gateway, write back and I will send you what I have.
I am in need of network driver for the Emachines
Hi,
The motherboard in the machine is an MS-7207
The chipset drivers are nForce 430/410
You can download the chipset drivers from nVidia here >>>>>>>>>
http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_nf4_winxp32_8.26_11.09.html
Don't worry, the network (LAN) driver is included in the package.
Regards.
My t6420 has not been plugged in for 2yrs and I
you can try to reset cmos.the cmos jumper is in most cases near the battery on the motherboard.or,if you dont know how to move the jumper remove the battery for 3 minutes and put it it back.if the problem persists you might have a problem with video card.
E machine T1150 wont start up
Make sure you have the memory installed correctly. Those beep codes identify it as bad memory. Try the old RAM.
Good luck with this.

Check your output jack again and make sure its on the green jack
and also check your speaker wires, if okay then check this;
For Windows XP;
- Go to Control Panel
- Sounds and Audio Devices
- On the Volume tab under "Device volume" check that sound is NOT muted
- Adjust volume control
- Check "Speaker Setup" under "Speaker settings" under the "Advanced" button
For Vista:
- Control Panel
- Sounds
- Select Speakers then properties
- Make sure device is enabled
- Test sound
- Adjust volume controls
Under Device Manager make sure that under your sound card that you dont have a yellow exclamation. Yellow exclamation indicates you need to install the correct driver.

Emachine - T6420 - Monitor
Most likely your video card is broken. To check if the motherboard isnt broken either, I would suggest you test usb, sound, and other features of the motherboard.
If your motherboard isnt broken then you have to buy a "pci-e graphics card" at your local store. Shouldnt cost much, about $40-70. Hope that helps.
Hi, i am workiing on
That's exactly what it sounds like. I would put in a new video card (or used one, if you have one) into one of the expansion slots and run it from there.
I would suggest to go into VGA mode just to make sure, but since your monitor never even gets off standby, I'd be 99% it's the onboard video.
Hope this helps!
My computer turns on but
well it should be one of two things either you do not have a good connection to your monitor cables or you have a faulty video card. It would be the only thing that would cause this.
