You don't need software for the monitor. Windows will see the monitor automatically. Any video adjustment comes from the video adapter software
Would this monitor be covered
The warranty is 36 months parts and labor. If you have and the monitor longer than that it will not be covered. If you have had it less time than that, you can normally get a copy of the receipt from the place of purchase (example Best Buy). If you purchased an extended warranty from vendor (example Best Buy), you should be able to take it back to them for repair or replacement.I hope this helps
Envision EN7410e monitor
Just fixed mine. Maybe it's a few years late. Hope you guys still have the display. It's the power supply board. I've just replaced 4 bulge capacitors near one edge of the PS. They are 2x1000uF 10V, 1x470uF 25V & 1x470 10V. I salvaged my parts from an old CRT monitor. Hey you can go green with your repairs too!
The screen stays on a real short time then goes
The problem is in the power supply board usually caused by bad capacitors, they often bulge at the top and become open or near open, but regardless they must be changed with high temperature low ESR replacements.
My monitor keeps blinking on and off. Any idea how
Connect it to a different notebook or desktop computer.
If it still exhibits the problem, it's broken.
Given that it's only 17 inches, it may be more expensive to REPAIR it
than it would be to REPLACE it (and upgrade to 19 inches).
Take it to a qualified technician, and get an estimate of the repair-cost.
Hopefully, the technician will not charge $25 as an "inspection" fee.
En7410e turns on but wont stay on
Hello,
The problem you have is caused by one of two things,
either a blown power supply in the backlight inverter or bad backlight
bulbs. More than likely it is the bad power supply. The problem in the
power supply are parts called capacitors, they blow out because of the
heat trapped inside the monitor enclosure. If you can solder you should
be able to repair this type of problem. You can go to our web site at:
www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm
we have pictures of what the capacitors look like when they blow out.
Take the case off the back of your monitor and look for any that look
like the pictures. Replace all of the ones that are bad, the values of
the caps are printed on the side of each one. You can order replacement
caps from several places on the internet or contact us and we can
supply them for you. When installing the replacement caps be sure to
insert the new ones with the stripe on the side going the same way. If
you don't want to do the repairs yourself we offer a repair service. If
you have any additional questions just email me.
I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.

Pulsating screen.
Due to the flourescent lights that are used in this product, i would suggest trying to return the product for a new one, as one or maybe a few of the bulbs may have busted or become loose due to the impact caused by the fall.
En7410 won't turn on
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY THE PCB(POWER CONTROL BOARD IS BAD YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF BUYING A NEW MONITOR)
IF you do find the power control board replacement and get it to work i think you would have better results spending the same amount of money on a new monitor with all new parts plus warranty
