Computer file doesn't play on DVD player
Hi, burning a WMV file to a dvd wont work on a standard dvd player due to the format, easiest way to fix the problem is using Nero, and selecting video disc and it will convert the file when it burns the disc to a playable format..
Have a nice christmas
John
Burning dvd data
its telling you that the dvd are not being closed, do you wait until the computer tells you its finished before you eject the disk, most lite on dvd's will eject themselves when done.
A cd broke inside my dvd writer while using it, and now it wont eject
on the left side of the front pannel just under the drawer you will see a pinhole.turn your cd unit upside down and insert a straightened paperclip in the hole keeping it straight as possible, the drawer should open enough to allow you to grip it .
if no luck you will have to remove the case top and manually remove the disc..
hope this helps.....Len..
Dvd cd empty not open
there is a hole that you will be able to stick something to open it,you will need a pin to do that
I can operate my dvd burner?
Contact the manufacture. U can google the name for contact info. Another option is try driverguild.com and search for the appropiate driver. Downloads are FREE.
Tray not opening
try a safety pin push it in the tiny hole just by the led light door will pop open.
Slow Writer
Hey there dhruvr, your problem is minor. Even though your DVD drive has max speed of 16X, the software you use to burn can vary this according to their default setting. ranging from 4-16 times. You can change these by opening the extra option boxes, when you are burning, or going into the settings for each of your burning programs. You should only have to do this once. It will remember your last setting. Good Luck!
Stuck dvd
ya litte tiny hole in there stick paper clip in it push the tray will open then pull it open rest of way may even reset it cheak cables
Driver cannot start
First ensure ya DVD is OK in BIOS, IE: Ensure the Drive Table shows it "Active". Otherwise the drive is faulty & must be replaced.
If OK, Then Boot, & go to Device Manager & right click the DVD & "Uninstall Driver" when asked if you want to totally removal/remove all files say Yes.
Then close down & turn power off, then open PC & disconnect the DVD drives Power & Data Cable.. then reboot.. Get to the desktop and then shutdown & Turn the PC OFF, then reconnect Power & Cable, restart PC.
Windows should "Detect" the "New" DVD and pretty much "Just work".. it may ask for "Drivers" if you have got them, point it in the right direction of the Driver files & install
If windows doesn't "Detect" & install driver & and pretty much "just work" after this.. then again your device is faulty.
If it's not working, then ya gotta replace the DVD with a new one, when doing so, just do as above to install.. Connect Power & then the Data Cable, etc.. etc.. and ya should be all good.. as usually if it's a good one.. they just work..
Cant play DVD ROMs
you can try uninstalling the drive, by going to my computer, right click>properties>hardware tab>device manager and look down the list for cd/dvd drives, click on '+' sign and right click on your drive make and select uninstal.
Restart pc and your drive will be reinstalled automatically again.
If you have a cd cleaner disc run that also.
Try to run the game again, although it may still not work as the drives laser seems to be out of line or simply run it's life, and a new drive is the only answer i'm afraid.
