Can't get to the home screen

I've just solved that problem in the VSX 7000 of my girlfriend's Job.

Your VSX7000 has at least 4 video outputs, 1 for VGA and Supervideo 1 and Supervideo 2.

Firstly you should try VGA connector, because the main menu may be there, so you could change the configuracion.

If you can't see main screen in any of the output connectors you'll have to use the http tool.

In your internet browser enter the camera IP address, and you'll get the Web Interface of the VSX7000.

It will prompt you for user & password, the default options are "Admin" and your VSX7000 serial number (14 digits) you can find this number under the camera.

Once you're in the Web Main Menu, click on Site Map. There you can choose what you want to see in the screen of Monitor1 (My menus are in Spanish, maybe your menu says something like "screens" but I'm sure you'll find it)

If you choose Monitor/Screen 1 as Svideo, and select it as output for Local, Remote and Content you should see the Main Menu after the VSX7000 Reboots.

I hope it would be useful for you, if you have any problem with this let me know... This VSX7000 is working fine now, so yours should work!

Romote site can't see graphics from PC

Are the endpoints the same? Have there been any upgrades to the endpoints? If you are trying to use H.239 (dual video), you may encounter issues.

If you are trying to just send the computer as another input, this should work. Be sure that you can see the input locally.

Not able to getting video from Remote far end.

Is the Indian site within the firewall? If so, I would focus on the firewall. Does the US site have a firewall? They may be blocking outbound traffic. If you are connecting but no video, it sounds like UDP traffic is still being blocked somewhere. If you can, you may want to assign public IPs on the units and test outside of the firewall.

Hope this helps..

VSX 7000A connects domestically but cannot connect internationally

Please check with your Internet Service provider. They might have a firewall which blocks the ports used for video conferencing
