first check all the power connections verify every thing is hooked up correctly. check the fuses. and the amp has to have a separate wire called remote going to the back of the head unit. the head unit sends a signal to the amp to tell it to turn on when the head unit is powered on.
E01 code on my cd player in car
The vehicle has not been identified. The error message seems to appear on cd players when the tray refuses to eject. Lubrication of the ejection mechanism might help. I found a wiring diagram for the 2005 Hyundai Elantra that might be helpful . According to the diagram, the color codes for the factory wiring harness are as follows:

If you don't have a plug on your factory wiring harness, you can hardwire it by connecting each wire to its corresponding wire on your new stereo. You can use crimp caps or soldering to make the connections
