Dd603 bottom drawer locked shut, no displays with
The thermal fuse that cuts of power to the drawer has been tripped. This means you will need to replace the heater assembly at the base of the drawer. It is not cheap - could set you back by $350-400 to replace.
To open the drawer you need to turn the mains power off and then simply pull the drawer out with a little force. The lid seal is jammed shut because the lid seal actuator motors are locked after the power failed. Do not shut the drawer back as this will damage the lid seal. You will have to call a technician to replace the heater assembly and restore power to the drawer. Hopefully the top drawer is working ok.
Drainage problem
Sounds like you're getting back-flow from your sink where the dishwasher drain line is plugged into. You have to make sure the DW drain hose has a vacuum break in it. Sounds hard, but it's not.
Look under the sink. See where the DW drain hose plugs into your plumbing (probably at the disposal)? If it angles downward and into the cabinet to your DW, that's the problem. It's siphoning water out of your sink (along with the chopped up food from the disposal) and into your DW.
The fix for this is simple. Remove the drain hose from the plumbing under the sink. Then form an upside down "U" with the drain hose and firmly attach it to a stationary object under there (I always use the water supply plumbing to the faucet for this...) using whatever you have, good duct tape, wire ties, etc. Then reconnect the end of the hose back to the plumbing and you're done! Job time= < 15 minutes.
Fisher & paykel double dish drawer top draw just beeps...
The controllers get very brittle & can break away from their housing, the reason it's rapidly beaping is because it thinks the door is open. PLEASE TURN IT OFF FIRST AT THE POWER POINT. Take the front draw panel off by pulling the plugs situated on the front behind the draws, the controller is at the top right hand side if it is loose then thats the problem, double sided tape will work but lots of it or try a wedge type arrangement. I know this is an old post but people refer to these for solutions much later.
F1 error on Fisher and Paykel Dish Drawer
Sorry did not see your problem report earlier. If you have checked the sensor under the bottom drawer and it is dry, then F1 is caused by top drawer power filter fault. This means the bottom drawer controller is giving the F1 error but the top drawer controller has no power. Can you confirm this.
Clean water seeping back into top drawer of DD603
the outflow pipe is probably blocked,,i used i wire coat hanger straightened it out then bent about half an inch,,go to the outside drain and feed it through, twisting as you go,,if its anything like the water where i live it will be blocked with lime
F9 in on the display
I am assuming the F9 is showing up only in one of the two drawers. It means the controller has a fault. Cannot do much short of replacing it.
Have you tried to turn the power off and back on?
It looks something like this. You could try checking with the controller on the other unit but don't want to end up with two faulty ones. So may have to order one and try.
Hope this helps. Please rate the solution.
F2 code on Fisher Paykel dishwasher
The problem is linked to rotor operation during discharge cycle. By replacing the rotor with bottom will only address part of the problem. There is very likely some obstruction in the pump cavity. This is the small channel connecting the drain sump and the pump cavity. Grab a thin but rigid wire and clear this channel. Usually a bone chip or some seed. Also confirm if the top rotor worked ok when you moved it to the bottom drawer.
Top drawer won't close
After completing a cycle the top drawer feels like it will not open or the top of the drawer has fallen down. I've since forced it open but, now it feels like it will not close. I did not force it to close. How do I remedy this problem?
How to reset a fisher paykal
THere is no specific instruction for reset of the dishdrawer.Once you turn the mains power off and back on there is not much you can do. The problems using occur if there is a faulty sensor which tells the diswasher controller not to proceed. You will need to a bit more specific on the type of problem you are having so that the right solution can be proposed.
Dishdrawer cannot open
the power board at the base of the dishwasher under bottom drawer appears to have blown up. Take the bottom drawer out carefully to access the power board. Make sure the mains power is turned off.The reason the bottom drawer is not getting back in is that lid seal actuators are stuck as the motors are in close position. Will reset to normal position once the power is restored. So don't try to push the drawer in as the lid seal will be damaged.
