if u get on sonic eletronix.com u can find chep good power kits and if u dont know wat ur doing i wold let a audio compane do it if u live near huntsville alabama i can do it. call me 256-698-9903

overloading your amp try just one sub hooked up and see what happens if it starts working do not bridge your subs use two channels and try again other wise you fried the circut board in the amp some where

It probably has shorted output transistors. Most of the time, all you need to do is replace the shorted output (and those in parallel with it).

What are the circuit board designations (Q111, Q112, Q211, Q212...) for the parts you replaced?

Did you replace the defective parts with identical transistors?

Amp in Protect Mode - Troubleshooting

If it goes into protect mode with no speaker wires connected to the amp, it sounds like the audio output transistors have shorted. If that's the case, they would have to be replaced. It would require troubleshooting to find the shorted parts. You'd then have to disassemble the amp, desolder the defective parts and install the new parts. People don't realise that factory car audio is operated by and monitored by the Body Control Module (BCM) on a computer network. Your warning chimes and indicator clickers are generated by the BCM and played through the car audio system. The computer has no idea that this new device is! Take it to an auto electrician or to an Alarm / Audio installer and see if their professional bi-directional grade scan tool computer can reprogram the BCM to ignore your device. Or just put the old one back. ..

1. Make sure the disc you are trying to play is compatible with the radio. The radio may not support certain formats or types of discs.
