Fisher and Paykel Fisher & Paykel Washer - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

Hey mate - Fault code F002 on these front loaders refer to some heating issues within the machine, it be anything from a loose wire - faulty NTC sensor - to a stuffed element and worse case the control PCB unit.

hi there the first thing ill tell you is that the washer needs to drain water before it can spin there are only a few factors that prohibit this operation a faulty lid switch secound a blown or blocked water pump being a fisher paykel they are famous for jammed water pumps as they decided when they built the sysyem to turn the water pump upside down this causes a lot of stress on the water pump see if you can lay the hose on the ground and get all the water out i belive the machine will then start to spin dry. in this case it is the water pump and have it replaced its a simple operation if you can order the part fromf/p you simply turn the washer on its side depress the white latch next to the pump turn the pump clockwise till ity release from machine disconnect power supply plug and fit new unit as per reverse

did you wheck the windings on the pump if they are discoloured in any way replace it they get hot smelly and then blow the main board

make sure yourhot and cold taps are on even when on a cold wash and see how you go

burning smells are most common from the drain pump remove and sniff it if it smells like its been getting too hot replace it

the cold solenoid is faulty

its one of tricky ones,because its one of two faults, both are board faults question is which one so you need two replce and try it if tht doent work replace the other one

this sounds like a computer error asthe first and last lights is an error code 129 which does not exist if its the first and second to last light then its a sensor fault

Check the drain pump, it may be overheating and cutting out.

there is no cleaning as such,but if your havig drainage problems then remove pump check for anythining that might jam it and lookat the electrical windings for any discoloutation if there is replace pump

if you have a 51 fault the machine must be a diverter valve model machine which has a water save function,check the diverter has nothing jammed in it and that the soleniod is ok with a multi meter if it passes both checks then it your main computer board

If it is out of balance it will automatically return to a wash cycle to try and redistribute the clothes more evenly. Maybe the out of balance switch is faulty. More likely though is a faulty control board. If that then get a new washing machine. That model is over 20 years old. Not worth spending money on it.

this is a 130 faulty which is a faulty rotory position sensor

Could be a overheating pump. hope you got it checked out! probably blew the board when the pump went.

If it is really loud and noisy when on spin it will almost certainly be worn or rusty bearings. Workshop job to dismantle and replace the parts.

Is the motor wires(Red,Blue,Yellow) plugged onto the right place on the motor.
