you may have tripped the board circuit, have you tried to reset it? read ur manual and it should show you how to reset it or try unplugging it for few minutes and plug back in.. WASHER WILL NOT START: Power If your washing machine won't start, begin by looking at the power source. First of all, is the washing machine plugged in? If it is, has it tripped a circuit breaker or blown a fuse? Check and reset the breaker (orreplace the fuse) if necessary. Lid Switch The main control for the washing machine is the switch inside the lid. If this has stopped working for some reason, your washing machine won't start. It's not especially difficult to troubleshoot this on a washing machine. You might have to open the top to access the switch. With the power on, depress the switch and listen for a click. If you don't hear one,the switch MAY BE BADand will need to be replaced.Confirm defectiveness with a multi meter checking for continuity OHMS. An open circuit reflects a bad switch.. All washing machines use a motor that is responsible for spinning and agitating during the cleaning cycle. Many top load brands use a reversing motor which means the motor spins in one direction for agitating and another for spinning and draining. If the motor does not start, but makes a humming or buzzing noise then it may be defective. To verify if the motor is at fault, remove the drive and /or pump belts and then try to start the motor again. On direct drive models, you will have to disengage the pump and the direct drive coupling to the transmission. If the motor starts, then the problem is with the transmission or the pump and can be further diagnosed by reconnecting each one individually. If the motor does not start or continues to hum or buzz, then it will need to be replaced Lastly CONTROL BOARD If the control board does not provide the proper voltage to the drive motor, fill valve, drain motor or door lock then the washer may not start. The main control board on most washers is complicated and difficult to diagnose without proper test equipment and procedures. You can visually inspect the control for signs of electrical arcing or burned or damaged components on the board. If you cannot see the water leaking from the inlet valves, check the seal just above the water pump located directly under the drum. I am in the midst of awaiting parts to fix this very thing on my FP GWL11. This leak is dripping water directly onto the motor, causing it to trip the circuit breaker during drain/spin cycles.

Note... I have also had to have the inlet valve assembly replaced as well as it was not opening to allow cold water to mix with the hot.

It beeps to tell you there is an error. While it is beeping & before pressing any buttons, read the error code & write it down. The error code is the lights along the top row. Count from left to right and make a note of exactly which lights are on and which are off. There are 8 lights, you need to say exactly which number light is on. Post the result back here and someone will tell you what that error code means.

The fuse is built onto the control board. It is not designed to be replaced. My 3 year old machine lost the water pump and blew the fuse. About $375 to fix. I am buying the new pump and will attempt to replace the fuse on the board. I hope there are no other bad components.

under the top of the machine on the right there is a reed switch which is actic=vated by a magnet in the lid remove the two bungs and screws so you can lift the top up a bit and you will see it there one screw to remove it if its corroded or swollen its faulty either repace it or as a easy fix cut both wires off it and join them together and tape up, this should do it

check out the drain pump as it is linked directly to the main board any burning smell or discolouration of the copper windings replace it

ok if when you push pause the water stops its not your solenoid but the transducer which is built into your main computer board which you will need to replace

this usually means warm wash is selected but only cold tap is on try turning hot tap on even for a cold wash

manual say display unit so try thst first,most repairs have plenty of second hand ones lying around

first thing to look at is the sensor either faulty or corroded connection block if good or a new one doesnt fix it then most likely the main computerboard fault

no not thst i know of but its always been a problem with them over tha last 20 years

its really important the R.P.S you replaced is correctly fitted so double check it,also the connecting block if corroded in anyway will cause the faulty its easy to see the bluey color of corrosion, i have struck faulty new sensors beforebut not all thst common if you are really sure all that is 100% then it can only be the wiring loom

with power to machine but all lights off press temp water down button and power button at the same time machine will give two short beeps release then pree spin speed up button three times the lights that are now on is you fault code

replace the cold water solenoid

the switch is faulty replace the switch

this is a faulty out of balance switch which is located under the main computer module once replace sgould be ll good
