No sound
1. check if the amp is in PROTECTION mode (might be a bad speaker or shorted output)
2. check the 'MUTE' switch
3. try to use the FM/AM mode to isolate an input source. If there is sound then check input source.
4. ...still no sound have a techinician check it.

You need to check on the operation of your receiver regarding the use of the subwoofer output line. If it does not satisfy you, better get a better receiver or A/V control pre-amp system with lots of features in the subwoofer circuitry. Google (internet) might help you with your specific model.

I too have not been able to come up with one. Not a common model maybe, or 10 years old is just too old for electronic versions of the manual to be about.
Try This
Disconnect the amp from the wall socket for 20 mins,then plug it in and try again. Let me know what happens.

have you connected the antenna?since most receivers do not have an internal antenna an external one is provided.A LOOP ANTENNA(square plastic wires bound together) FOR AM and a LONG WIRE ANTENNA for FM.I hope this helps.
