My Hoover 750 L Top Loader leaves a lot of fluff when I wash my dark clothes. I have been looking for a filter on it but no success. Any one have an answer please.

Hi there you may have a faulty inlet solenoid, this may not be the case if neither hot or cold works. Hope this helps Wayne

Thanks for using FixYa. It seems that the door assembly has gone bad and needs to be replaced. Also check the Lid Switch as if the lid switch is defective, your washer can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

this will be your carbon brushes this will only cost £15 at the most pull your washer out now tip it back so u can get under it the carbon brushes are fitted on each side by 2 screws there are only 2 carbon brushes on your motor

If the washer doesn't operate or make any noise when set on any cycle, or if it stops suddenly when it should continue onto the next cycle, it may not be receiving electrical power or, if the motor stopped mid-cycle, the machine's overload protector may have tripped. In this case, take out some of the articles to reduce the load and let the protector reset itself, then restart. Otherwise:
1) Be sure it is plugged in and turned on. If necessary, check the receptacle it's plugged into for power, using a working lamp, appliance, or voltage tester. Be sure the washer lid is closed completely.
2) If the receptacle seems dead, check the circuit breaker or fuse that serves that circuit.
3) Unplug the washer and check the power cord. If necessary, replace the cord if you feel qualified.
4) Open the lid and check the lid switch and the tab on the lid that it pushes against. Press and release the switch: if it doesn't click when you do this, it's probably broken. If you're experienced at home repair, you can remove the switch, test it, and replace it if needed; otherwise, call an appliance repair service person.
5) If the washer still doesn't work, the controls may be faulty. Call a service person.

The load might be unbalanced, and will not spin at full speed as it could damage the machine. Try reloading the machine

double check all wires that may have been dislodged while you were working on the machine, its easily done, check the pump for electrical circuit (continuity) replace if needed, this may cure the fault, BUT FIRST double check you have connected the water supply properly first, ensure water is getting to the machine and you have not kinked the pipes putting the machine back if i have helped please rate me please

Its not an error it means its in delay start mode. Hold down the delay start button (looks like a clock) for 5 seconds and it should clear
