try pushing the door really hard if it opens check the door seal is on properly sometimes they pull off when removing clothes they can get trapped in hinges

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Here are my guidance notes for checking both the drain filter and the drain motor ;-0)

If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and most are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play!

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!

Likely problem is thqat the dispensing switch inside the washer does not work. Unplug the machine!!!
Undo the screws on the back, at the top of the machine. The top cover should cover should off, backward and expose 2 tio 3 of the these switches. Under the top cover there may be an instruction sheet, that may have a map of the position of the switches, and possibly of test codes. If it has test codes, follow the instuction to test the dispenser solenoids. If you don't hear a click when performing the test, the dispenser is likely bad. Test the other switch(es). If it/they click then you have a bad dispenser solenoid.

Replace it and problem should be corrected. Or, call service personnel if you cannot perform the ttesting described above,.

Two things can cause this issue...first when the washer is unable to drain completely it won't spin, to solve this you can take off the bottom front panel and then clean the drain pump assembly. If the water is draining fine then the issue can be with the door lock assembly and should be replaced. If the door lock sends signal to the control that the door is not closed the washer won't spin. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

There is one very good reason why it is not advancing past the wash cycle. This is a really common problem that most people send hundreds when they can fix it themselves. Power off your washer, put it on its side. Your going to see four to six silver bolts with hex heads located in the center holding in a plastic device known as the filter assembly. Remove the screws and find any hair inside the assembly. Remove the hair and put the screws back in. Even the smallest amount of hair inside the filter/drain assembly will cause this problem.

Hi just read your posting.I know these machines well.To see where the water is coming from 1st remove the 2 screws at the back of the lid.This will remove the top lid so you can shine a torch around the drum to see where it is leaking.The back panel has 5 screws holding it to the frame.Pull the machine away from the wall so you can get behind the machine and remove the screws for the lid and back panel.You will then be able to shine a torch around the inside of the machine and spot the leak when it is filling and going throe a wash cycle.Be careful because once you take the panels off you will expose live wires.Be aware of the wires at all times when you are shining your torch.Please reply back and let me know where the water is leaking from and I can help you further.Looking forward to your reply.

Had same problem wouldnt spin found clip on motor had come loose pushed it back on problem solved!

What has happened is the Float switch, has jammed and this is because it was tilted back wards. You will need to free this float, you will have to dissemble the overflow container, and reset the float.

Check the plug in every measures necessary and then call an engineer rate : [

hi christina,,,its dont centrifugate???????? hmmm! do you mean spin?
or it dose spin,,, but dont pump out? if its not spining there is a program fault,,,or motor fault,,,,if it dont pump out,,,thats a pump fault,, program fault or a blocked filter,,,the pump has its own motor,,,however if there is a program fault that could cause the pump to fale to pump as well???
my brain hurts now!

how do i put the belt on my washing machine

this is probably because most front load washer heat the water. check if you can adjust temperature or turn off,or check if the washer has a quick cycle for example quick 30 minute cycle.good luck keep me informed

firstly if it is less than 2 years old you should still have some kind or warrenty left so you should be able to have any repairs done by an enginer at no cost however if you are wishing to try to resolve the problem yourself i would 1st advise that you check the drainige pipe is not kinked or has been pushed into the waist to far making it hard for the pump to extract all the water if these checks dont fix your problem then you may have a pump or sensor issue if so just check your warrenty as most apliances come with either 3 or 5 year warrentys so you will get this repair for free.
