Lift the lid up. There is a cut switch that is lid activated - top of bowl on right. turn on power, start cycle, lift lid, get a skewer and move that toggle slider switch foreward. You should hear the machine start to fill.
This is what happened to me after jolting/moving the machine, and a big relief it was that easy :-)

The solution is a faulty solenoid valve.Replacing the valve is easy. Turn off your machine, unscrew hose, remove 3 screws to lift control cover, slide out locking tab, unclip wires, then the replace valve. Here is a link to the part.

Check the inlet screen on the hose connection on the back of the machine. This may be clogged with debris, also make sure you hose is not crimped. You can unhook the inlet hose and put it in a bucket and turn it on to see how much water is actuall coming thru that hose. I suspect some type of blockage in the inlet.

Open the lid, locate the centre washing spindle/arm then undo the cap on top of the spindle (this will either unscrew or just slip out, Pull up.) inside there you will see the lint filter, wash this out and put back.

Sounds like the water inlet solenoid valve needs replacing.Best off to call a certified repair company such as Sears.

It appears your Lid Switch/Door Latch has failed in this instance.

Following will be the causes for water not draining properly
1.There is a motor/Pump which operates to to drain the water check whether that motor is working.
2.Check filter and clean it
3.Check the drain pipeline whether it clear
4.Check the inlet valve of the machine Sometimes the drain works properly but the inlet solenoid valve will not hold and the water keeps coming in and fills the drum

Unpluggin the machine is pretty much the only way to reset it.Leave it unplugged for a couple hours if that doesnt work its most like a control board issue

Remove the hose connection from the machine and check if you have sufficient water pressure and flow. If that is ok, check the screen on the inlet valve for debri and clean that out.

if you can manually move the tiimer and have all the functions of the machine work to expectation then it would definetly be the timer make sure you perform a test and check the wiring to the timer to assure that you do have power going to the timer before you go ahead and buy the timer sometimes you may just have a loose connection at the timer that may have came loose and is barely making a connection so check your connections and assure that you have power first hope this helps

Hi just read your posting.Does the timer move at all from the original position that you started it from?If it does not move at all then you need a new or reconditioned timer.If it does move but stops at a specific spot,What position does it stop at?Are you in Australia?
