I can hear the myself
Make sure you've adjusted the Mix knob correctly. The Mix knob is above the Output knob. Turning it counter-clockwise allows you to hear more of your input and turning it clockwise lets you hear more of your playback. Try adjusting the knob clockwise to get more of your playback feed.

I have an external sound
Make sure all of your connections are good and that your cables are not cracked and or cut. You might want to try a different USB port. Make sure that your device is recognized and enabled by clicking on "start" at lower left corner of your screen. Find "control panel" and click on that to open. In your window now, find "Device Manager". Right click on that and open, click continue. Click on the box with + next to "sound ideo and game controllers". A box will drop down with your devices. If you don't see M-Audio or Fast track or reference to your device, try a differnt USB port If you do see yor device, Right click on it and a window will come up with "enable" or "disable" if you see enable, click on that and exit. If the device showed up and it is or you enaled it you may want to update your driver. You can do so here;

This is M-audio's download site. Your info is in, and driver is selected. This site put it in for me except your operating system. Scroll down to results and look to right for "file name". Click on "install M-Audio...", which is underlined, and run your download.

I am using M Audio
My suggestion is to uninstall the Fast Track device, restart and then reinstall the software. Also, not knowing the computer you are working with, I would also suggest that the speakers are not disabled somehow ( IE, Mute button that got accidentlly activated). Was anything else done to the computer between the time is was working and the time it stopped working). If your audio card and and software are working properly, your speakers are the problem.
Let me know if you can add any more detail to the issue so I can help your further if necessary.

While instaaling fast track pro
it requires a higher standard operating systems to install this software... if you are running in windows Xp try upgrading to vista and install the software... if you are already running in vista or win7 then it says that it requires a 64 bit operating system.....

Suddenly sound off. when i any swtich on
youre electric box consists of a certain circuitery of parallel and serial resistors and capacitors.... when u switch on any other switch from the box the newly made connection offers less resistence to the one ur applying from the sound system , so the preference of current is to flow through an easy way out and hence makes ur problem.... for solution i would firstly suggest u to always use a seperate connection line for heavy power consumption devices.... my answer will beproved if u replace that speaker system with some other appliance of low voltage ... now apply any other connection the low voltage appliance wont stop

Daer Respected Sir I Dont
If the sound is onboard (physicaly part of the MoBo) then you have to go to the manufacturers site, and download the various drivers and see which one works. if the card is an add-on then power down your unit (ground yourself to the tower chassis) take the card out and have a look for a distinguishing name. if you can't find one, then it gets very tedious. you have to start search for FCC identifiers on the chips, and usually do a sort of reverse look up for the manufacturer.

Audacity and Krystal (free windows based programs)
What about an LE version of Cubase or Sonar (little hard to learn if your just want to record something light and not edit).

M-Audio Fast Track Pro
Hi,
I guess if your still looking for an answer your probably desperate. Never the less, if someone else is looking for an answer you need to select FT Pro in the preferances. Basically, you have to tell the software what to record and when. Pretty easy really.

Pls help me
uninstall other audio software and try to install each audio software one at atime and test it out before install another software. Windows media is not the best audio software, but it should pick up any of the audio media.
