How do I reset my tv

To do a factory reset, you have to enter its service mode option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" will make surf easy. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. Do a search by type in the brand name of your device at its search box and press "Enter". http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

How do I adjust volume when tv is frozen?

Unplug the television. Check to see if the plugs are polarized (one bigger than the other). Sounds like if the plug was plugged in the wrong way could cause what we call a hot chassis. The tv is not properly grounded, it appears to be a grounding issue.

When i go to input devices no matter what i

First of all make sure you are also trying different input options on the INPUT MODE SELECTOR button on the remote control or on the TV itself. The TV may currently be stuck on an input mode which you do not have like HDMI.

Hook up a DVD player, power it up as well as the TV, and then press the INPUT button on the TV remote repeatedly to cycle through all the available input options to see if the display changes at all or gives you a signal.

If that does not work, try turning off and unplugging the power cord to your TV. Leave the cord unplugged overnight, then power the set back up the next day and test again.

If this fails to make any difference then you may have a faulty MAIN CIRCUIT BOARD in your TV.

These are fairly costly circuit boards to replace and do require some basic electronics skills to safely carry out the procedure. The DIGIMATE brand is not widely distributed so you may have some difficulty finding a replacement circuit board even online. If you have the skills to safely disassemble the TV enclosure, then open it up and get the exact part number for the main circuit board which should be printed right on it. Then go to EBAY.com and search for that part number to see if any replacements are currently available.

If you are unable to carry out the work yourself or the replacement parts are more than $150, then the repair may not be economically feasible. I would recommend using that money towards a new high quality, brand name TV like a SONY which would be much more reliable and would come with a solid warranty.

Please comment back here to this page if you have any details to add, have any questions, or just require further general assistance and I will respond as soon as I see it.

I hope that was helpful to you, good luck and take care.

Joe.

Hi I have a digimate

Please look on the back, there should be 4 mounting holes (for Metric screws) Iin what is called VESA mounting pattern. Just measure the pattern.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flat_Display_Mounting_Interface

When you buy the mounting bracket, it will come with a bag of Metric mounting screws to attach your TV to the bracket.

Had a power surge through

make sure to plug in all major electronics and appliances to a very nice surge protector. If you have tried the TV in other outlets that you know work, and it doesnt display anything. It is probably power supply.

A massive failure occurred when you tried to start it and the power source has been fried. time for a repairman, ASAP or the damage will go bigger and more expensive to fix.
