Call Hisense for a firmware upgrade. Screen on our Hisense suddenly went blank last weekend too and aparently there was a broadcast that had upset a lot of models. Hisense Support will send you out a USB stick with a firmware upgrade

I found their web site for the U.S. and found a 800 number,we called and they we bought a new coverter box.

12 Volts. Unit pulls about 3 amps, so go to 4.5 or higher, if possible. Many units are for sale on Ebay and other Net locations.

I have never worked on this model of panel. I know that it is discontinued. It is an ED (Exteneded Defination) type set. You will find that because of the age of the set parts and service will be difficult to have.

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. The site has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. The site has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Set-up code list to many brand remote controls also is given. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It is a Chinese set and they view upside down. Easy to fix.

Ensure you have selected the correct system output. If Svideo, check the Chroma is switched on. If using RCA jack, use all four connectors.

Often the instructions for programming a TV remote control is included in the TV manual. The EN 31201A remote came with several TVs including the Hisense F39V77C. This page refers you to the manufacturer's site for additional codes. The Hisense-usa.com site did not list the specific TV that I found that used the EN31201A remote. Since the F39V77C first shipped in 2012, the remote would probably be limited to use with devices that were built in 2011 or earlier. I recommend a universal remote that includes support for streaming devices. Unfortunately, I don't know which support Fubo TV specifically. Most packaging advertises Roku or Amazon Fire support. You can find the code lists for some RCA universal remotes online. (Most of the others require finding a code written inside the battery compartment to determine the remote generation and code list.) Bypassing a board or a part on the board would be like removing the spark plugs from a car and expecting it to run. On a serious note, if the TV has lightning damage recycle it and buy a new TV, you may be able to turn in a claim to your insurance company, once a set has storm damage even replacing a board may not fix it long term, in our service center we usually won't repair a TV the customer advises of lightning damage,it's a good way to get call backs
