HelloCheck the back light inverter board and CCFL tubes used in the backlight assembly. In most cases, damage to these components couses black screen with sound to LCD TVs. OK.

i have sound but black screen , no picture

Lay unit flat on table, remove stand and rear cover. When you remove back, you will see a power supply board in the middle of the set.There are (3)1000mfd @25 volt electroltics and (1)220mfd @16 volt electrltyic that have to be replaced to return to normal operation. This is not something to try if you are a novice as you must observe polarity when installing these caps. But this repair WILL return set to normal operation.

This worked like a charm for me. I used the buttons on the side of the TV, since I've lost the original remote. Good luck! I HAD THAT SAME PROBLEM ALL YOU DO IS HOLD THE MENU BUTTON UNPLUG THE TV AND PLUG IT BACK WHILE STILL HOLDING THE MENU BUTTON GO TO GENERAL SETTINGS AND TURN ON RESET MENU ON FROM THIER AUTO SEARCH YOUR CHANELS NOW U CAN HEAR THE TV BUT BLACK SCREEN NOW UNPLUG YOUR TV FOR A FEW MINUTES PLUG IT IN AND YOUR TV SHOULD BE BACK ON THIS IS THE 3RD TIME IT HAS HAPPEND TO ME IT WORKS

To tilt the display hold the stand base and push the to of the display. If it is new they are stiff to move so you might need some pressure

Why not phone Hisense and ask them. The phone number number should be listed in your directory and they will tell you where the Hisense outlet is to purches .. and u can ask them about a universal one

Thanks for using FixYa. To start with the first thing you should check is the power supply board as blinking lights indicate that power is getting to the unit however, as its not working which means that the power board should be checked. To start with open the back of the unit and then check the power supply board for any bad (bulged/swollen) capacitors. Power supply board is the board where all the power cords/plugs goes into. After you have checked that also check the main board and if you can use a multimeter to test the components on these boards. Don't use the remote control the signal it block.Go to ur manual contol on the tv right side.Push the power button to turn tv on.Push button Menu now U in the tv Menu,Use the volume + or - button move the Menu function to OPTION,now use the Channel + or - go down to the word said Operation lock out(ON) Now push manual contol button said INPUT.Now the word said Operation lock out(OFF).Now remote control is relase,u can use the remote control now.Tell me this work ok.This is how i unlock the Sharp Aquos tv.

they look like little can's with either a black or blue wrapper around them! that says 1000 uf @18vdc
