Your sprayhead and steel tube which connects to the sprayhead from the tank may have a lime build up. Simply remove the sprayhead and clean it with a wire brush and make sure the holes are clear of any lime or debris. In order to clean the tube which is what the sprayhead screws onto you will need a deliming spring. www.midstatebeverage.com
What is the best way to clean our Bunn coffee
The best way to clean a machine like this out is to actually run a full empty brew of a half water half vinegar solution. This will completely clean out the lines inside the machine and freshen everything up quite a bit. After you run the full empty brew of the solution make sure you run at least 2, maybe 3 full brews of just water on the unit. This will ensure that all vinegar is flushed out of the system, and will help clean it as well. Of course the vinegar won't hurt you if it isn't flushed all the way out, just makes it taste quite funky. But 2 flushes with plain water is almost always enough to completely clean it.
Of course when I say an empty brew, don't put any grounds or coffee filter in the machine, just run the water and vinegar through the machine as if you are brewing a full put of coffee.

Water coming out of sprayhead should be hot, either the main switch in back is off for the element, or the hi-limit switch is damaged or if there is an in-line fuse on the element it might be damaged.

Hello this coffee maker has a one and a half gallon internal tank, could be one of a few problems, first thing to check is the spray head, unscrew this you may need some channel locks to get it off and check it..use a tooth pick to clear the 6 holes with any lime that may have formed...also if you use a commercial coffee company for your coffee they should have supplied you with a spring to clean the spray head tube.
After checking these 2 items the next thing to check is there enough water in the tank..when the vpr is left on and not used for a few days the water in the tank evaporates..it takes approx two and a half pots of water to fill up the internal tank...try pouring another pot of water in...also turn machine off and take the 2 screws out of the top and see if there is lime blocking the drain hole in the fill pan.
Hope this helps...please feel free to comment again if you have any other questions...Good Luck!!! Mike
I cant see my BUNN BT Velocity date code on my brewer I was told it is 6 digits... it starts with what number??
To locate the date code on your BUNN BT Velocity brewer, you can try the following:
- Check the bottom or back of the brewer: Look for a label or sticker on the bottom or back of the machine. The date code is typically printed on this label.
- Inspect the sides or inside the brewer: In some cases, the date code may be located on the sides or inside the brewer. You may need to remove any panels or covers to access the label or sticker.
- Consult the user manual: If you have the user manual for your BUNN BT Velocity brewer, it may provide information on where to find the date code. Refer to the manual for specific instructions or contact BUNN customer support for assistance.
If you are still unable to locate the date code on your brewer, I recommend reaching out to BUNN customer support directly. They will be able to provide you with accurate information and guide you in finding the date code on your specific model of the BT Velocity brewer.
