I had the same exact problem. I took off the diagonal mirror and used the eyepieces directly into the focus tube. Now I can see distant objects 5 miles away with great clarity. It might be a bit uncomfortable to look at the night sky this way but its the cheapest alternative if you are stuck with the telescope.

Just had this happen to me. I tried re-syncing, powering off and on, but no change. I finally opened the case up, popped out the circuit board and disconnected the battery . I let it stay off power for about 30 seconds. It only took about 1 minute to find the satellites! Let's see how long it lasts....Used it yesterday. Found satellites in 15 seconds worked correctly for entire game. Rechecked today and still good.

Have you checked the power supply and the media card ?

Are they supposed to be waterproof? If so, return them.

Can you check that the new battery is an alkaline battery? If it is, and you are still getting the E31 error code, you will need to return your rangefinder to Bushnell to have it reprogrammed. E31 is a programming error code. Most of the time this comes from using non-alkaline batteries or from letting a battery die in the unit. Non-alkaline batteries just don't generate enough current for the laser to operate properly.

UNIT OF MEASURE OPTIONS The YARDAGE PRO TOUR can be used to measure distances in yards or meters. The unit of measure indicators are located in the upper right portion of the LCD. To select between yards and meters, look through the monocular, depress the "mode" button (left side of the unit underneath the BUSHNELL YARDAGE PRO logo) and hold it down for approximately 2 seconds. If you are changing from yards to meters, a change in unit of measure will be indicated by the illumination of the letter M for METER indicator while the YD for YARD indicator is turned off. If you are changing from meters to yards, the opposite will occur. Note: The YARDAGE PRO TOUR will return to the last setting used, each time the unit is turned on.
