Hi how long have you had the stroller and did you buy it new if so it has a 2 year warranty so contact bugaboo and maybe they will be able to replace it for free or may charge you for a spare part. if its not in warranty you could also look on ebay or similar sites and get a cheaper secondhand seat frame to replace your broken one.

Hi
The parasol fits onto the foam surround that you attach the seat/carrycot fabric onto, unless you have the two clip parasol which can be attached to the handle.
Hope this helps.

Inside the right-hand hub there are three components, two metal pieces approximately the shape of a rounded J and an concentric cam (looks like an oversized washer about 5mm thick with notches taken out to allow it to turn when pulled which is turned by the button/slider on the handlebar.
The 'j shaped' pieces are held in place by spigots have probably have sheered off leaving the mechanism locked in place.
The Bugagboo final assembly process forces a chrome cap on to the end of the handlebar & legs axle - sadly this requires specialist tools to saflely reinstate so they insist on return and replace and will only do that if you're under warranty.
I'm looking at a work around involving
Putting in two brass spigots and replacing the locking cap with either an over-sized circlip or a split pin and washers.
Sorry it isn't better news
Main Chassis bar won't lock on one side
We had a similar problem, the right-hand hinge of the frame would not lock and the button was permanently down. What had happened was the handle extension switch housing had come unscrewed and slipped up the frame, causing a small spring to fall out. The lock switches each have a spring which pushes down on a rod inside the frame to lock the hinge. To access the spring, unscrew the handle extension housing and slide it up the aluminum frame. I replaced the missing spring and the frame works perfectly. If the problem is with the spring, this should work. Alternatively the problem may lie inside the lock switch housing, which contains a very simple mechanism which slides the lock rod up and down. This can be unscrewed as well. As far as I can tell, the actual hinge assembly itself is a sealed unit and can't be opened, but hopefully, you won't have to.
Good luck,
Ben
