Unfortunately the R4i Gold card is a fake, and if you've updated your console to the
latest 1.4.2 or 1.4.3 firmwares it's unlikely to work. Check out
R4 DS Revolution Cards at www.r4dsrevolutioncards.com (info site) to differentiate between different versions of
R4i cards and make sure you buy a genuine one!
A lot of the fakes will indeed work when you buy them but as soon as you update your console they'll stop working. Make sure you buy a real one in the future to avoid frustration!
Good luck!

first of all, if you use the r4 on the 3ds, it is going to brick it wich means it will casue it to stop working. Second of all, r4 company died out past 4 years ago. Lastly, you need a unoffical( which not the real company made) firmware, which the game with the errcode has not been patched
My Nintendo DS will "turn on," but not start up.
your fuse or fuses are dead. however, it is fixable, but it is extremely difficult.
1. if you don't have the time or the means or the wants to solder it,
then sell it on ebay and you can get a fairly good price and someone
else will fix it
2. if you do want to go through with this then you will need a meter, a soldering iron, and a lot of time and patience.

Green led turns on but screens dont show anything.
This is sometimes caused by a small capacitor on a connector board being blown. It's the only cap on the small board where the ribbon cable and screen connect in the top half of the system. If this is the problem, the part is less than a dollar, and the labor shouldn't be more than 15 minutes. You can use that information to judge whether or not you're getting a good price from a qualified technician.

Some DS games are only in one language, may it be French, Spanish or English. It's not all games, unfortunately, that have the ability to be multilingual.
In your case, it's a Spanish game which hasn't been translated to English. Therefore, changing the DS's language will have no effect on the game: it'll still be in Spanish whatever you do.
The only way to have the game in English is to have an English version of the game.
Wat does 5200 error code
HI there.
Our experience has shown that this error message is solved by performing a manual setup on the Nintendo DS. Please follow these steps: The first thing you'll need to do is find out what IP address range you should be using. To do this: Click the "Start" button in the lower left-hand corner of your computer. Next, you will need to access the command prompt. To do this: Windows XP users click "Run." Windows Vista users click inside the search bar. Type "cmd" into the box and press Enter. Type "IPCONFIG/ALL" and press Enter. The IP address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, and DNS servers of the PC will be displayed. The IP address you are going to assign to the Nintendo DS must be 10 digits higher than the PC's. (e.g., 192.168.1.100 becomes 192.168.1.110). The DS and PC must have different IP addresses. Enter in the exact same values for your Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, Primary DNS and Secondary DNS. They must be the same for your Nintendo DS and for your PC. Click here to go to our Wireless Router Configuration page. Use the drop-down box on the left to select, if available, your router manufacturer. Click on your router's model number, if available. Read any "special notes" at the top of the router's page. Many issues can be solved by changing the settings found in the Special Notes. Follow the instructions and test the connection. You will now need to manually assign this new IP address to your Nintendo DS. For step-by-step instructions on how to do this on your Nintendo DS or Nintendo DS Lite, please click here. Check Nintendo's router info for special notes, if available, for your router. If you try these steps and you get a different Error Code, please review the values that you entered carefully, since an incorrect manual setup will cause another Error Code to appear. If the 52000 Error Code persists, than the problem may be caused by a basic setting in your router such as transmission rate. Please carefully read the instructions below: If you are still unable to connect, please call 1-800-255-3700 in the USA or Canada for more information.
Thank yo for using Fixya!
