I had just repaired two of these with the same problems, and ran into two different solutions! First solution is too check with a little flash light inside the game cartridge area where you insert the game for bent pins that may contact each other when the game is inserted, the solution is to take apart and repair the bent pins by straightening them out, or buy a new cartridge holder from ebay to solder on the board. This fixes no read and shut down of ds, and is a permanent fix, until someone jams a cartridge back in and bends the pins again.The other fix, is to buy a new motherboard I found that one had a circuit malfunction which caused this issue. Most likely and a lot of times it is in fact bent pins causing this because when inserting the game into the cartridge area over and over with force or putting it in backwards and forcing it by someone that doesn't know any better will create the problem and that leaves you two options I stated above: If you can fix the bent pins you might have success, if you can solder, you can replace the game cartridge on the motherboard, and or replace motherboard if that failed. If you don't do none of these you have the option to get it repaired, sell it back on eBay. The pins are fragile and can be bent in ways not repairable in that case you would safe time and effort to buy a game cartridge on line, cheap few bucks, and solder it onto motherboard to fix your issue. no matter the model number when you click on story, for slot 1, 2, 3 click on the little can on the bag of m&m's instead of hitting a or b. it will say erase? click on the yes option.

Simply place your thumb on the edge of the screen and press lightly while blowing air (avoid spitting). You may need to work all 4 edges/corners.

Then go buy another and if it does it again go the the games settings and change it back! :)

you can either change the wireless security to something that the DS supports (different models support different wireless settings check the Nintendo DS site) or you can turn off wireless security all together, if you go for the later, i'd only do it temporarly and after you finish using your DS on the internet turn wireless security back on.

When I hooked up my DS with the charger the orange light would flicker for only a few seconds then turn off.

I found out that if you KEEP THE DS ON WHILE HOOKED UP the DS will charge. Although, because you are playing/DS is on the charging will go extremely slowly.

Best option, and what I did, was was just return/exchange it. I just did that today.

There is rubber piece underneat that usually wears out. You'll need to open your console to replace it.

I had the same problem but solved it. Gather 4 apples and 4 honey if you haven't already and go to the dress making chest inside. Go on combine materials and scroll down until you see the apples and honey. MIx them together then go talk to sam. She will get the apple juice.

1. Try another outlet in the wall
2. Check the wire of your charger, it may be loose as well.

Make sure your ribbon cable is all the way in and that the clamp on the connector is down.
