My BF41 Hotpoint integrated Dishwasher seems to

I've had this issue with my thermal fuse blowing. If the water gets too hot, this will trip. If you have a meter and know how to handle yourself around electricity (power off and verified), then you can pull the liner out to get to the electronics. (I don't know the exact method for the Hotpoint). Follow the power lines and you'll find the fuse. Mine has two wires connected to tabs on a little card. If the fuse shows open on the meter, then you can get another for just a few bucks off your favorite auction site, or local appliance parts store (a few bucks more, but immediate delivery). If you have the hot water heater temp high, then you might want to make sure you don't use the "heat water" function, otherwise the fuse will blow again. Please let us know if this helps, it will benefit others in your situation.

Spring mechanism is broke. As

If you need to replace the spring mechanism, go to Sears's website and access the parts direct section. Here you can enter your make and model. It will show you a cutsheet with part names and numbers. Order the parts you need from there.

Loud noise from dishwasher door. then no

It sounds like you may have a broken door spring. You will have to take off the bottom panel and with a flash light you can look to see if one of the springs came off or broke. If the spring is broken you will have to purchase a new spring and replace it.

Dishwasher element and thermostat

Check with multi-meter for power on heating element's tags. If it does get power, you should replace the heating element. In case of no power- you should replace the thermostat. Good luck !

Continuous rinsing

Put 2 tablespoons of oil into the water at the bottom of the dishwasher it will help break up the suds. Sprinkle as well ordinary table salt liberally across the suds to disperse them. Try to drain the unit as much as possible, soaking up any residual water or suds with a dry towel. Let the machine fill again, and repeat the process if necessary. Good luck !

Dishwasher

Let the suds die down then pour in about 1/4 cup of vegetable oil. Start the machine and let it run a few minutes then open the door and see if it is still sudsing. This will usually kill the suds. Some times I have to repeat again but not usually. Drain the water out and run through a short cycle with regular detergent and you should be good to go again.
