Will not drain
a couple of things to look for ...you want to make sure the drain is clear...usually you can remove line from under sink and check connection for obstruction and clean out... also remove screen from lower portion of dishwasher and check inside there for any foreign materials. alot of times you have to remove spray arm to gain access ,but a fairly easy process. if all that looks good take bottom panel off of dishwasher and under unit you will see a square metal device with a solenoid on it and usually has a short rod on it attached to the pump assembly.. this is a real common problem the drain solenoid goes bad... if you turn dial slowly you should see this solenoid move up and down at different times in the cycle. you should also here a click and it begin to try and drain..if it doesnt move then it most likely is bad.. you can also unplug and see if your getting power to it in the drain cycle on the timer .... if it is moving then ot is possible the drain pump has failed...hope tis helps you out... p.s. if you have a garbage disposal or recently installed a garbage disposal a common proble people forget to knock the plug out on the neck assembly where the drain line attaches.(only if you recently installed a garbage disposal does this pertain)

Why doesn't the dishwasher drain?
The problem is likely a blockage in the drain line that runs from the dishwasher to the sink. you should take the panel out from under the door and then disconnect the drain line and check for a blockage.
If you have any further questions please feel free to ask.

Hi
White film deposits are observed if water is hard or when you are using more detergent than needed, try filling detergent cup half way. Try using white vinegar after the wash cycle is complete, run a complete cycle. Also turn down the heat on the hot water fed to the dishwasher. Try using water softener for better results.
You can also add vinegar in the final rinse cycle.
Hope this helps... Please post back if more information is required.

Hi
This is happening due a a faulty fill valve or due to blockage in fill hose. Please check the water inlet hose, try removing it and check for any blockages. If the inlet water hose is fine then you'll need to check the water inlet valve/fill valve. Use a multimeter to check the continuity on fill valve. Make sure the connections on the fill valve/s are fine. Hope this helps... If it does please do not forget to accept the solution or post back for assistance.

Hi
Check for any kind of leaks around lower spray arm or soap door. Replace the arm if any cracks are found. Also make sure that door latches firmly, and the gasket is not cut.
The leak can also happen due to a broken fill valve. To check, take off the access panel from the front of the dishwasher so you can reach the fill valve attached to the metal bracket. Use a multimeter to check the continuity across the two black terminals at the top of the fill valve. If it reads 120 V, replace the fill valve. Make sure the thin filter screen between the bracket and fill valve is not blocked by debris.
Please post back for any further assistance.

Will not drain
Hi,
A clog in the drain line or air gap (if there is one) is the usual reason that a dishwasher won't drain. Often the problem is at the point where the drain line attaches to the garbage disposer or household drain line. If you remove this line, you can clear any debris from the hose or hose connection. Be sure to reattach the hose before starting the dishwasher again. Many dishwashers use a drain valve with an electric solenoid. When electricity flows to the solenoid, the valve opens and diverts the water to the drain. Sometimes the solenoid, or the diverting lever, sticks and prevents the dishwasher from draining or filling properly. Try to free up the solenoid to lubricate the lever. Otherwise, you may have to replace the solenoid or pump assembly. With these systems, the motor always rotates in one direction. When it's energized, the drain valve diverts the water.
Other dishwashers simply reverse the direction of the motor to drain the dishwasher. These units don't have a drain valve. Instead, there's a drain hose connected directly to the pump housing.
Thank you !!
Water sits in bottom of dishwasher and does not
If you have recently installed a garbage disposal the knock out the plug in it where the dishwasher drain connects to it. If not it sounds like the pump may be out or your drain line is clogged. Check the drain easiest way is where it connects to the pump disconnect it but make sure you go slow and you put a bowl under to catch the water.
