Hi,i have a disney sewing and embroidery

If the timing is off is needs an authorized repairman to fix it with metric tools. Not a repair that can be done at home. Usually costs between $50-150 depending on your area.

I need a replacement needle to embroidery. need to

The thread cassette has no bearing on what needle you use. You need a Schmetz embroidery needle with the red band size 75 for light to medium weight fabrics or a size 90 for heavier fabrics such as denim.

I have a Disney Brother SE-27OD Embroidery Sewing

Make sure you have the flat part of the needle to the back when putting it in and that it's (preferably) a Schmetz embroidery needle with the red band either 75 or 90 or a Schmetz universal 80. Make sure when you install it you can see the top of the needle in the needle slot and all the way up so it's hitting the post before you turn the screw tight. Check the screw each time you sew to make sure it hasn't shaken loose from embroidering.

If the presser foot lever is already lowered and

try turning it off & then back on
I've encountered the problem with my electronic sewng machine
it jams up & I turn it off & then turn it back on, that usually clear the circuit board
if it keeps doing it, I would suggest taking it to be serviced

I need the correct setting for my singer merritt

Always remember that it is the opposite of what you think, it is not the bobbin thread - it is your upper threading, you don't have it threaded right. Go to brother.com and download the manual for free and then enlarge the threading page. I am sure that you will be amazed, because I sure was. Good luck

When threading my needle a small metal object came

I am sorry that the small metal object has done some great damge to your base mechanism. Since the identity of the object you described is not very relevant , it cannot give much than to advice you to carrefully check inside for a jigsaw puzzle to be put in place. assuming that only the parrts were dislodged you can carefully out this in place to fit in. if there is damage or broken parts, I am afraid that you may need the brothere service centre help for the spares. Check out what you can and then call up. Helpful? Good day

The tension is wrong

Ok,...to see if the tension is functioning properly, thread the machine and be sure the presser foot in in the up/raised position. When the foot is up the thread should pull easily thru the eye of the needle, lower the foot and the thread should become harder to pull thru the needle (set the tensiondial on 4 or 5). If it as I described, the tenson is working.

My Brother SE270D keeps jamming up and getting

Make sure you are using 60 weight bobbin thread only in the bobbin, also make sure you are using only SA156 ( SFB-XA5539-151) bobbins, the size 156A are not for this machine. I have used Singer size 15J bobbins with no problem. The bobbin should have slightly rounded ends, not flat like a regular bobbin. This helps the thread over the bobbin at high speeds.

I threw my machine out of time the first three times I used it for embroidery and decorative stitches. Had I read the manual, I'd have known to use 60 wt bobbin thread. I have also used 90 wt with no problems...60 wt is what comes with the machine.

If you have to take the machine in for service, make sure to take sample of the problem and the embroidery unit, thread you used, etc. Take it all and tell them to test it all.

My Brother dealer felt these Disney machines were great little workers..and said they are not hard to repair...some dealers don't know enough about how to repair the thread cartridge, so tell you the machine is not worth repairing. It is...I've had mine for 4 years.

Hope this helps some. You may have to take the machine in to be timed / cleaned...once that's done and you are using proper thread and bobbins (upper thread - you can use any, bobbin it's 60wt)...you will love your machine.

Hello,
Please try removing the bobbin case and then move the wheel. It is very likely that the bobbin case came out of place and causing the machine to lock up.
Thanks,

The timing needs to be adjusted and this is best done by a sewing machine repair person.

You can get directions at the website for sewusa under repairs.

Having issues with my Se-270D can you help

The brother machines are notorious for jamming if there is even a tiny bit of lint in the machine. Take out your bobbin, unscrew the plate, take out the bobbin holder. Use a pipe cleaner or paint brush to brush all around inside the machine and pull out any little threads/lint that has collected in there. Replace the bobbin holder by lining up the screw toward the front. Replace the plate and screws. Make sure your bobbin doesn't have any little nicks around the edges that could catch thread. Replace the bobbin and rethread. Replace your needle (this needs to be changed often) rethread your upper thread. Test stitch.

The gear thread feeder retaining ring keeps flying

You have one of two things that is the problem:
either your retaining ring is worn or slightly warped enough that is not making a tight enough fit OR the groove that your retaining rings slips in is worn and preventing a tight fit.

A good starting point is to take the retaining ring to a hardware store or a machine shop and have them match it up (assuming you have the original ring and not a replacement already) and get a replacement ring. This should take care of your problem. If you have already replaced the ring, you should verify from the manufacturer that you have the right size ring....or try a different size.

I do hope this information is found to be helpful to you moving forward.
:-)
