It depends on where you live, and who you call.
If you call Hotpoint, then the callout charge is nearly £100.00.
If you call an independent repair man, then you can expect to pay anything between £4.00 and £60.00 for the call, plus the cost of the belt.
Hope this helps.
There is a removeable cover at bottom rear of washer..
Undo this, and you will see the motor and belt.
It will be very tight to put on, but this is normal as it is a stretch belt, that is why there is no adjustment on motor.
Hope this helps you .

Thankyou.

After removing the rear panel, remove the large black hose onto drum at the right hand side.
The filter is inside the hose.
Also remove the hose onto pump, and check for blockage or obstruction here as well.
This should solve the problem.

Thankyou.
On mine it was the pressure sensor. remove the top cover and its clipped to the side of the washer behind the soap tray. it has a clear plastic pipe about 1/4inch diamater connected to it. Took it off gave it a **** and a blow and hey presto, Wifes pi**ed off though, thought she was getting a new machine for a minute. told it's good for at least another five years. We'll see.
Hi.
The motor is non adjustable on this washer.
Tilt washer forward, get someone to hold it steady, and put belt round motor pulley first, then slip belt on drum pulley, and slowly turn drum by hand, feeding the belt on as you turn drum, be careful not to trap fingers, as it is very tight, this is normal, as the belt is a stretch type, this is the reason the motor is non adjustable.

Thanks.
If ther is no filter at the front of washer, then remove lower rear panel of washer.
Locate and remove large black hose fastened to bottom of drum.
Remove and clean filter inside hose, also remove hose onto pump, and check for obstruction here and in the pump.

Thanks.
Remove drive belt, and spin drum by hand, if it feels rough or noisy, then the main drum bearings are worn.
If no noise from drum, could be a motor prob.
