Could be the plug itself, or door interlock switch, try cutting off plug replacing Interlock cost is around 20GBP.

when mechine rinses it uses cold water so check filter and pump

It does sound as if it is the switch, since you can eventually get it going. Depending upon the age of the washing machine, you will need to decide whether another repair bill is worth it. I would look at the last bill and call the repairman for an estimate of current charges if you are sure it is the same problem. I don't recommend attempting ANY repair by an unauthorized person to a major appliance. Good luck to you.

hi take top off door works on water presure normally clipped to side at top you will see a round or oval part with wires plugged in look at bottom of that there is a clear tube take it off by sqeezing clip pull off open door and put it back or else machine will just keep filling try back soap tray

check water pump filter, it may be blocked or jammed

Replace the bearings.... the only solution the machine will have a new lease on life.

undo door hinge from cabinet - held with two screws.
the door halves are held togethet with a few screws which undo and the door will split apart so you can replace the glass

sounds like the spider and drum bearing are on there way out

Hair clip stuck in pump remove pump then remove object

Things to do make sure despencer draw is clean and the rubber door seal is clean do a maintenance cycle every year this is the hottest wash cycle with cleaning detergent. also leaving the door open after cycle will help hope this helps

For the pump try taking filter back out and putting back again for smell clean out the rubber door seal with soapy water after the door seal is clean clean the despencer draw fully by taking it out. When you washed the seal and draw get washing machine clean for local super market and do a 95oc wash it should smell nice now if not could be drains hope this helps.

• This means your heating system has gone wrong you will need to book repair but you could try and reset machine turn off at plug for 5 mins and try again.

• F04 - Pressure switch jammed on empty
• This might need a repair you could try purring off machine at plug for 5 mins and switching back on if still does it you should book repair hope this helps

This is usually the door interlock wearing out, and not returning to normal quickly enough after spinning. Search on YOUTUBE for videos of how to replace one, it usually requires the door gasket to be un-clipped from the outer front panel area (behind the door). Please check the power to the mains controller unit and if present please check if the door switch is contacting to give the OK signal for the controller to start the function . So if the inlet does not open and allow water into then is seems that the program controller unit is a suspect.
recheck once again to confirm, try to swap a similar board to confirm and then replace.
