The directions for the degrees is after rubbing

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

The best way is for you to have a manual to help you.
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download for free or have to pay a nominal amount. During the process you will be asked for the actual model number!

Good luck,
John C

Drum will not turn

Remove the back panel or look under the unit. There is a belt that goes from the drum to the motor. Either the belt is broken or the motor is no good anymore

Hotpoint wma 10, rus through cycle till it starts

Just a thought but you never tampered with the water level on the pressure switch did you? This would give off similar faults. It could be the pressure switch itself or the chamber is partially blocked it could be a broken or loose tacho wire on the motor. Or it could be a fault on the main control board.

Hotpoint WT540 Bearing Change.

If there are no visible screws or other obvious means of the 2 drum halves being joined together, then it is not possible to change the bearings, as it is a one piece drum.
Current models are one piece, earlier models had screws securing the drum halves together,
Hope this helps..

Belt has come how do i get it back on

Wrap the belt back on the drum, then wrap back on the motor pulley. Make sure you get on the pulley groves, not on the shaft on the motor. Witht the idler pull back past the motor. Put the belt by the idler and release the idler gently. The idea is to have the tension of the belt on the idler.

It probably is related to your drain outlet, depending on the set-up, I would suggest you remove drain hose and clean the place where the drain hose enters the drain system, if possible, clean all associated pipework

Hotpoint first edition automatic washing machine washes clothes .

I've got a Hotpoint First Edition WM52 that stopped spinning at the end of the wash cycle. Called the repair man and he said it was most likely just the filter blocked? Suggested I reemove the front base panel and try to locate the filter remove, clean and replace. Front panel wouldn't come off, base panel at the rear, 6 screws to remove revealing a black squeezy hose with slide grips holding them on, on removal of the hose two ten pence pieces, a one pence piece and a childs hair clip blackened with dirt sat blocking the top of the hose.
Hope this helps; repair man saved me £58+vat just with a few words and a bit of persistence from myself

My hotpoint few10 washing machine wont work,it

On some front load clothes washers, the door has a safety interlock switch that prevents the washer from operating if the door is not fully closed (or the door / safety interlock switch is not aligned or broken.)

I would check that first. Please report back, OK?

Cycle is stopping at 9

A common solution for filter cleaning, might help you. You should check your pump too. (another Hotpoint model)

The filter is located behind the silver plate at the back of the machine at the bottom. Four screws hold it on. The filter is inside the big black rubber hose attached between the pump and the main drum. Remove the plastic clip holding it to the pump unit and then the metal cir clip holding it to the main drum. In side is a white molded cone and a big white ball which floats in side. You will find a lot of junk here, clean out. To refit put white cone back inside just as you found it, at the bottom, fit ball back into the cone. Attach to the bottom to the drum and re-fasten the cir clip. Finally reconnect the gator to the pump unit and tighten the plastic clip.

How do i remove and replace drub bearings

There is no no easy way to get to them, as it involves a complete strip down af washer.
Briefly, you have to remove top and front panels, disconnect all electric wiring, and remove the whole of the inside drum assy from the cabinet, then you have to split the inner drum, before you can get to the bearings, not a repair to be undertaken lightly unless you know what you are doing.

Good luck anyway.
Plz rate my comments.
Thanks.
