see this mean :Usually means that either the touch pad or the oven control (also called
clock or ERC) is defective and needs to be replaced. If this fault code
cannot be cancelled, replace the oven control (also called clock or ERC),
touch pad, or both.Read more: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/repair-help/hotpoint-fault-codes.html#ixzz2gUdlkOnE

mine said the same ive cleaned it out but when i took the back off ive noticed rusty coloured water comeing out of the back of the drum do you no what this may be as its not turning now
most probally the control module (bottom of machine) emw electronics are your best bet for a replacement, as otherwise they have to be programmed by hotpoint
Check the level of the machine, may be leaning slightly forward allowing water to leak on that one fill cycle. Lift the front a little by using the adjustable feet and see if it stops.
This video will show you how to keep your soap draw clear
and how to service the parts

if this washer has a accsess panel to the water pump they usually have a filter that catches debris and bigger items before they go in the water pump and destroy it i have three girls at home who have lost small socks bobby pins and a multitude of other things in this cup it just simply screws out from the houseing by the water pump un plug your washer pull the acsess cover and uncrew the filter you should see it by the water pump if you could take a pic and put it on i could help direct you more
p.s. Before working on machine "turn of the
power".
Only carry out if you are confident that you can carry out safely.
Note check small black hose to the air pressure switch is connected,
When machine is turned upside down, the
hose has a tendency to come off.
If unsure call a service engineer.
My machine just had the flashing "door" fault.
On carrying out fault finding checks,
I Found that the main PCB had a built up dust.
This dust was in black lines going between components of the board.
Cleaned around components of the board with a small soft brush.
assembled & tested okay 2 months ago & still working.
Hi. F13 indicates dryer fan motor or thermistor problem
If you can't hear the fan motor running on the dry cycle then it is probably faulty.
Hope this helps.
Please feedback.
Thanks
It is a common fault that the drain fails to work in
most machines in a period of time and is the most problematic fault in a
washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most
important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If
you have noticed that water has leaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and
fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you
look for possible leaks here. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at
the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing
resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged.
Now remove the drain hose clamps and remove the drain pump/valve, clean the
drain pump/valve, use back flushing to clear off all dirt. Now test using power
to see if this works and can be simulated. When refitting, the hose must be tightened
properly. If the pump/valve does not work even with power then it must be
replaced. If there is intermittent power
to the drain valve/pump then the program controller unit is a suspect.
Finally the washer must be placed with a tilt- use a
spirit level- so that all water will drain to the outlet port and thereby there
is no residual water remaining.
