Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Try this!
I would gently suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor/pump lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters and many machines will not even go to rinse or spin or release the door lock if there is any water still left inside.
Following are my complete and hopefully 'coverall' pre-typed guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT (alternatively use a wet vac as sensibly suggested by VinnyB1234!)
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!). These panels are either held on by (plasic) screws or will just pull off. Most filters are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play.
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning.
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Sorry, this FixYa Washer Forum does not supply service centre numbers, engineers, spares or spares sources, software, installation instructions or prices; it is just made up of ordinary guys and gals, probably at home, from all over the world, with experience of addressing problems and giving guidance for free on the web ;-0)
You will either have to search in your local telephone directories OR stay on line and search for '(make) washer spares' and hope that you can find someone/somewhere reasonably local.
Sorry again ;-0(
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Hoover Aquarius Washer Drier WD
sounds like the bushes have gone in the motor... about £20 from your local appliance retailer/parts department! or the filter may be blocked... clear the filter but it will get messy so have towels at the ready a hosepipe would come in handy or move it outside if you feeling strong!!
to check the bushes locate the motor not sure of position on these but near to the bottom you will see wires going to plastic parts each side normaly held in by a screew, take a wire off each plug in and see if it runs...
hope this helps

You can buy a liquid product (I got ours in Lidl) that flushes out and cleans the machine. If one application doesn't work try it again. It's just like cleaning out the dishwasher. Worked for us and it was really smelling!

Drum will not spin in
Hi.
There
are several things to check. First of all check if it drains before
spinning. If machine drains OK, skip to check the pressure switch, the
motor control unit and control.
Most common problems resulting in no spin are caused by drain system.
Check
the position of the drain hose. Ensure that the height is as specified
by the manual or you get siphoning and drain does not end.
Access
the drain filter. With most front loaders this located in front at the base, there
should be a trim or an access panel.
The machine has a pressure
switch. It is a sensor connected to a long thin rubber hose. The
pressure switch is often in control assembly.Clean drain hose and the
switch. One way to test it is by blowing into the switch, but
manufacturers say this must not be done.
The pressure switch is difficult to test in full.
Most machines have a tech-sheet tucked inside the control panel assembly. You take off
panel that is held by a couple of screws and see if there is the
envelope with the sheet.
The rest of testing is more complex
because concerns motor and motor control unit. The motor control unit is
a module located inside the machine. Testing of this parts is done
reading voltages and Ohms at the motor and at control units contacts. This must be done by a
technician. The motor is easier to test. If problem is the motor replacing the carbon brushes may fix the problem.
Here a page on no spin problem.
Start checking drain hose and drain filter.
Regards.

I have a hotpoint aquarius drier CTD00 when i turn
It is so common that the washer /dryer machines can create terrible noise in many ways and is a common fault. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that machine is vibrating when it is running then the motor /drum suspension has to be inspected. Since these fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for the noise with a good inspection lamp. Manually turn the motor and drum and listen for the noise, if so the motor bearings, the drum agitator shaft and fittings must be checked. Also the suspensions which include the shock absorbers and springs, the body clamps must be checked to be in correct alignment and not changed in position. Tightening of the mounting is also very important. Finally in most cases a drop of OIL or smear of grease on the moving parts cane solve most issues.
For replacement of bearings check for tips on this visual link:

Stopped in the middle of a cycle - no power. have
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Sorry but with such a fault it is extremely difficult for anybody on this forum to remotely guess what is wrong with your washer.
It could be internal wiring/plugs sockets, control panel switches, control PCB. I fear that your only real option is a service call as the engineer will have the right equipment to safely diagnose what is wrong.
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

Every time i turn the power on, it blows the house
Your machine has a serious electrical fault (although the cause may be relatively simple).
Unfortunately, and with the maximum respect, the very fact that you've had to ask this question confirms that you are not a competent person to repair your machine yourself (even with instructions) without serious risk.
All you can do is to unplug your machine from the socket and to call in a skilled friend or repair technician to diagnose and repair the fault safely.

Damp smell coming from inside machine and black
That thick black slime is called black mold. You need to do a major cleaning on your unit, including checking the water drainage hose to assure that the water is clearing all of the way out and is clean of builduo. Do not waste time in waiting to do this as it will only get worse. Disinfect,
Disinfect, Disinfect. Good Luck.
In case of a problem or clarification or my solution was insufficient, don't hesitate to post me a reply.
If you are satisfied, rate my solution with the "thumbs" or (even better) add a testimonial.

Look all around the inner tub with a torch , if you spot the wire sticking through grasp it firmly with pliers and pull out , dont let it go , if it slips completely between drums it is more difficult to get to.
