To lock the phone:

Since you have done all the necessary checks and the phone still stays on silent, then the problem is from the speaker which is where ring tones come out from when you receive a call or text message

The solution is to have the speaker replaced because it is no longer working. A repairer can help you replace it if you cant do it yourself.

well, what i recomment to do is take it to your closest cell phone place. its going to be difficult to try and do it yourself. so I recommend doing that. believe me it has happend to me

Usually if you have not set a lock code on your phone, then it is preset to the last 4 digits of your phone number. Give that a try.

First of all backup ur every important thing.
Switch off ur phone hold *,3 and green call button
at the same time and switch on ur phone.
